Got up to use the bathroom, they cleared my dinner and drinks so another couple could get a better table, don’t waste your money here.

A surprisingly good Italian restaurant smack dab in the middle of Zona Romantica. We ate here twice - once for pizza to go, and a sit down meal. The patio at the back is serene and inviting. Really good service and we were genuinely surprised by the quality of the food. Lasagna was better than many Canadian/US restaurants and my wife enjoyed her garlic tomato penne.

Very disappointed. Weak drinks. Terrible bread( Italian? Doubt it), and the bolognese over the ravioli was bland.
The place was busy but I'm not sure why. Maybe, we should have stuck with pizza!

We have eaten here many times over the years and this was the third time this trip. It is generally a good place to eat, but tonight we had a pizza that had bacon on it. They did not cook the bacon first but put raw bacon on the pizza that cooked not very long. It was like a pizza with raw bacon. It was not very good this time.

Great Dinner, 2nd time visiting La Dolce Vita, during my stay in Puerto Vallarta on this occasion I did it, in the location of the Romantic Zone, after some shopping in the surrounding area, I ordered their famous Salmon Carpaccio, delicious and incredible , real thin strips of Salmon with Capers a touch of Olive Oil, Toast bread a delight, second I ordered a spaghetti with Clams in White Wine sauce, delicious fresh Clams with good seasoning, a touch of fresh peppers hmmm, and to finish A Tiramisu to close with a flourish, one of the best I have ever eaten, impeccable attention as well as the Service, I sat at the Bar, excellent attention from the Bartender, very attentive and helpful, be sure to visit this magnificent Restaurant in any of its location in Puerto Vallarta..

This spot on Basilio Badillo, is great for dining and sitting at the bar. The option to sit outside on the covered patio or inside in the air conditioning make it better. The restaurant is full of marble, brick, wood and large glass windows. There are nice wine options by the glass and bottle at decent price points. The restaurant is very clean, and the service is excellent.

We went 3 times, the food was so good here. I highly recommend the pasta and the pizza. I am sure that everything on the menu is great. Great service and a huge thank you to Roberto for making us feel so welcome. I can't wait to go back.

Amazing Food, great service and fantastic location. Located on the Malacon plaza this is in a perfect location, we went upstairs where the view of the sunset was amazing. Fuccachia with cheese tasted great and was a good portion, all pasta dishes are made fresh, the lasagna tasted amazing and the carbonara was one of the best I have had, with such generous portion we did not have room for dessert but looking at other tables these look sooooo good. Will definitely be back again, thank you so much for the great experience

This is one of our go-to restaurants in PV. The food is always great, and our friend Massimo is a wonderful host.
I had the spaghetti in cartoccio this time, and my wife had the pizza Lombarda. My dish was teeming with seafood, calamari, octopus, and shrimp, the pasta al dente to perfection, and the sauce delicious.

I was having some food issues and they prepared me a special meal. They were only able to do that because it was early and they were not that busy yet. they were very busy by the time we left. I was grateful . The food was very good, nice Italian flair. Sat on the patio and it was delightful.

We visited LA Dolce in the hotel zone on a Wed evening. Walked in without reservations. Hector, our server, took great care to make us comfortable and explain the specials. A fte r Sharing a delicious beef carpaccio with a good malbec, we enjoyed the two specials: a tuna steak with salad and vegetables and a fusilli, mushroom and shrimp dish in a well seasoned tomato sauce. Both dinners were excellent.
The menu offers a complete array of pasta and meat dishes as well as 10 different kinds of pizza.
If you visit, ask for Hector as your server. He and his colleagues did a great job managing our dinner. We will be back

Not many restaurants in Puerto Vallarta have gluten free pasta but this one does. It was excellent and safely prepared as well.

Visited this restaurant on Basilio Badillo as well as the one on the Malecon several times and always enjoyed the visit. However this past visit was a total disappointment. We were seated indoors and the place was very noisy. Our appetizers came quickly but had to wait 45 minutes for our main course. The spaghetti bolognese I ordered were lukewarm. One of my friends ordered chicken cacciatore; the chicken was warm but the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables that came with it were cold. Tried to flag a waiter to no avail and finally gave up. My friend ate the chicken but the vegetables and the mashed potatoes were left untouched. When the waiter came to pick up the dishes I mentioned the cold vegetables and potatoes but he made no apologies: his only statement was: you should have told me and I would have returned them to the cook. The only problem: we could not get his attention when we needed him!
Obviously the restaurant is more interested in filling all the empty tables than providing proper service and ensuring that food is served at the proper temperature.
Needless to say, we will not be going back.
