Martha has returned to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit! After making history last year as the magazine's oldest cover star to date, Martha is being featured in a special collectible trilogy of covers for the 2024 60th anniversary issue.

The milestone issue celebrates past cover stars who have solidified themselves as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit legends—Martha included, of course. "A legend, to me, means something that's happened before and has gained an importance and lives on," Martha said in a clip from the special 60th anniversary Legends photoshoot.

For the photoshoot, Martha was photographed by Yu Tsai at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. She dons a beautiful Jenny Packham gown, Britt Netta heels, and Charlie Lapson jewels. In addition to several solo glam shots, Martha was also photographed alongside fellow brand legends, such as Hunter McGrady, Chrissy Teigen, Kate Upton, Tyra Banks, Paulina Porizkova, Winnie Harlow, Megan Rapinoe, and others.

The group shot is being featured as one of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's cover photos for 2024. "In the past, we’d have one cover model representing the supposed epitome of beauty at the time. But today there are seven covers featuring 27 women, all of whom have helped shape a world in which they feel more represented and more empowered than ever before," said MJ Day, editor-in-chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

Martha solidified herself as one of the brand's legends when she was featured as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's cover star last year. For the 2023 issue, she wore a white swimsuit with a plunging neckline and an orange-gold cover-up.

"When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, 'Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated,'" Martha said in 2023 about being featured on the publication's cover. "And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic."

Martha told the publication she was motivated to participate in the 2023 Swimsuit issue to show that women can look good and feel great no matter their age. "Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or in terms of success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s what’s important and not your age," she said.
