1. A male child; a boy; a son.
2. A young man between adolescence and adulthood: "Many high school basketball observers had never seen anything like this futuristic man-child, whose combination of size (now 6-5) and athleticism allowed him to dominate any position on the floor" (Neil Hayes).
3. A childlike man: "I think it's safe to say that Kip looked like a youthful man-child of forty or forty-one. In other words, he was a spectacularly well-preserved creature greatly enjoying his middle fifties" (Robert Reed).
