Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment Paperback – 10 April 2006
Purchase options and add-ons
STRAP YOURSELF IN for the thrill ride you'll want to take again and again! From Death Valley, California, to the bowels of the New York City subway system, you're about to take off on a heart-stopping adventure that will blow you away...
YOUR FAITHFUL COMPANIONS: Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman and Angel. Six kids who are pretty normal in most ways - except that they're 98% human, 2% bird. They grew up in a lab, living like rats in cages, but now they're free. Aside, of course, from the fact that they're prime prey for Erasers - wicked wolf-like creatures with a taste for flying humans.
THE MISSIONS: Rescue Angel from malicious mutants. Infiltrate a secret facility to track down the flock's missing parents. Scavenge for sustenance. Get revenge on an evil traitor. And save the world. If there's time.

Although this novel is for younger readers any adult who loves the world of fantasy will enjoy this,(I know I did).
An excellent story about a group of people who are different to the rest of us. I read the novel within 24hrs as I couldn't put it down.
This is a most for all fans, and those who have never read any of James Patterson's novels before. It's an execllent starting point for teenagers who want a little more then "Harry Potter".
Keep up the great work James, looking forward to reading the next. :-)

I really loved the flock. The characters were so believable they touched my heart. Reading the story had me feeling scared, happy, angry, sad, and thrilled. It had me wanting more, more, more. What made my day after finishing the book is that I bought the whole series. So, I get to have so much more of this great series. I am hoping that the rest of the books are just as good as this one is. Having read many of Patterson's books before, I expect they will measure up.
I will be recommending the books to my friends who enjoy most of the books I tell them about. As for anyone reading.my review, go for it! You won't be disappointed by a most remarkable ride.
The hole point of the book was great.
I'm interested to see what happens next, five out of five easily.
