Ashley ShahAhmadi’s professional life
Ashley’s professional journey began in has worked both on and off the screen to cover multiple sports at several Magnolia State levels. Her professional journey began in Meridian, where she fulfilled multiple roles at WTOK-TV for two years. She then switched to ABC’s WAPT. But her biggest break came in 2018 when she landed a role with Fox Sports Southeast (now Bally Sports Southeast).
Her NBA journey came through tireless back-and-forth to Charlotte for the team’s home games and then fulfilling her duties in Atlanta while the Hornets were on the road. So when she finally landed a permanent job in the organization, she said, “I get chills thinking about it. It was everything that I worked for.”

Now, she has a 5-year long illustrious career with the franchise and several iconic and heavily loved interviews. She has also garnered massive attention for covering NBA Summer League games in recent years.
