Kyoko Chan Cox’s parents are Japanese multimedia artist, songwriter, and peace activist, Yoko Ono and Anthony Cox, an American film producer, and art promoter. Her mother, Yoko Ono was born on the 18th of February 1933. Her mother’s work also encompasses performance art and filmmaking.

Yoko Ono has received the Dr. Rainer Hildebrandt Human Rights Award and she co-founded the group Artists Against Fracking. She became famous after she married English musician John Lennon of the Beatles.

Kyoko’s father Anthony Cox and mother Yoko Ono got married on November 28, 1962. The pair after being together for a short time got separated. They got divorced on March 1, 1963.
