Story
Java is very sweet and loves to play! She enjoys being outside, hiking and loves going to dog parks to meet new fur friends. She’s great with people and children. She’s very friendly and always has a huge smile on her face! She understands commands like “sit”, “stay”, “food” (when its time to eat) and “come here girl!” both in English and in American Sign language. She is incredibly smart and a fast learner! She’s great with cuddles, enjoys playing fetch and loves her squeaky toys! Ideally, we are looking for someone who loves being outdoors/enjoys an active lifestyle! If thats you, Java would be a great match for you! We would also prefer someone who doesn't have cats.

Story
Husband found him wandering streets of Brooklyn with no identification. He was 3 years old. We have had him for 8 1/2 years. So he is 11 1/2 years old now. Unfortunately due to mine and husband’s health issues. We just can’t deal with the added stress now that Rocky too is having health issues. He will need medical attention. He’s a very good dog. He was very nervous when we got him and remains so. But very loving and loves attention.

Story
** Current Location: South Korea ** Meet Gugu :) With Cats: No problems at all. She lives with cats at home without any problems. He has no aggression towards cats and shows no interest in stray cats he meets on his walks. (*She likes cat poop lol) With Dogs: Generally has no problems with dogs. She is good at greeting dogs she meets on her walks. She likes people much more than playing with dogs. With Adults / Kids: She is gentle and well-behaved enough to have no problems with children. Shedding: 5 (Side note: She doesn't shed a lot, but if you brush her regularly, you'll get rid of a lot of it, and she'll need to be groomed regularly because her fur keeps growing, and fast). Walking Manner: She has good walking manners, and she really loves to go for walks. Housetrained: She is house (indoor) trained and marks well on her potty pad. However, he will need to be made aware of his potty spot when he is new after adoption (he much prefers to potty outside). Bathing/Brushing: She tolerates baths well. She also tolerates brushing well. She's a little scared of the electric clippers, but we haven't had any major issues. Separation Anxiety: No. Bark or Howl: She barks when there is a low noise outside or when someone comes to visit, but she calms down immediately, and the barking is not loud. No howling. Carsickness: Rides well in a car, no car sickness. Likes & Dislikes: People, human affection, walking, eating (apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, cheese, meats) / dogs and cats clinging to me (I don't react aggressively, I avoid them). Personality: She likes people and wants to be loved (she really likes to be petted, she opens her belly and asks exactly with her hands - front paws - to be touched constantly. She's very well-behaved in the house, but not jealous. She loves to go for walks (he's not really interested in running around with other dogs in the park, she just likes to go for walks). She's a bit of a foodie, so she eats well without any covering, but she can eat things she shouldn't (ex: chocolate, grapes).

Story
** Current Location: South Korea ** With Cats She is currently living with cats in a temporary foster home. She is not aggressive with cats, but she is very interested in them, so if you have a cat that likes dogs, she would be fine. With Dogs She is currently living with the dogs in her foster home without any issues. They play well with each other, are socialized, and warm up quickly to new dogs they meet. With Adults/Kids She is very fond of people and loves to be petted. She warms up quickly to people she meets for the first time. Shedding Moderate. There is shedding in certain periods. Her fur is best brushed daily with a silicone brush. Walking Manner She loves to go for walks, both familiar and new, and prefers to take fast, wide, territorial walks (rather than slow, sniffing the trails). He also loves to run in the park, but will sometimes try to run outside if there is no fence. she is fast and has a lot of energy, so she loves to run around in large parks and meet people and dogs. she also loves to go for walks in the mountains, but she has a hunting instinct and is interested in small snakes, rodents, and birds. Housetrained She goes potty on pee pads and highly prefers to go outside. She can chew on wood and plastic furniture and will grab small items that fall on the floor and play with them. She's very playful and will run around with you if you have a like-minded friend in the house. Separation Anxiety She's always been around other dogs, so we can't confirm, but we think she'll be fine on her own. Bark or Howl She barks briefly when she hears strangers outside. There is no howl Carsickness She had drooling at first, but now she rides well. Personality She's sociable and energetic. She adapts to new places right away and loves to reach out to new people and friends she meets. She knows how to say hello to familiar people and friends. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to play with people. She picks up on new training quickly, so we think she would make a great dog for a family with a good understanding and training knowledge of dogs. She's a bit of a sneaky prankster right now, so she can get into trouble, but she's affectionate, gentle, and full of energy.

Story
**Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea** Meet Mango :) She was rescued from a high-kill city shelter and was about to be euthanized. However, due to her refusal to be touched by strangers, she underwent a lengthy training program with her foster family and is now doing very well. If you give her enough time and unconditional love, he will become your best friend. With Cats ; She is currently doing well with the cats in her temporary home. She is not aggressive towards cats and ignores them. With Dogs ; She is currently getting along well with the dogs in her foster home. They usually play well together, but there are times when she is shy. With Adults/Kids ; She is shy with people, and is good with people she knows well (she gets treats), but is very cautious with touch. Sudden touch from strangers (adults & kids) can cause her to act defensive (she hasn't bitten yet but acts like she will, or she pees when picked up and held suddenly, or she jumps away), but she will sniff and recognize when approached cautiously. Shedding ; Usually, her coat will increase when winter comes. The fur gets stuck to the fabric rather than shedding. Walking Manner ; She loves to go for walks, in both familiar and new places. Sometimes hesitates to go for a walk in crowded places (but does well in moderate crowds). Housetrained ; She's housebroken and doesn't cause too many problems, but she still chews on wood and plastic items. She goes potty on her pee pad, but much prefers to do her business outdoors. When outdoors, he relieves himself on dirt or grass. Bathing/Brushing ; She takes baths well (though not her favorite). She also likes to be brushed. Separation Anxiety ; She has always lived with other dogs but has no problem when her foster family goes out of town. Bark or Howl ; She barks when she hears strangers outside. She barks when strangers come to visit, but there's no aggression - she doesn't howl. Carsickness ; She gets nervous when riding in the car, so she can get car sick when traveling for long periods. She tolerates it well for about 30 minutes. Her favorite things are a set routine, family, walks, playing in the park, and her favorite treats (tridles, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, chicken, beef, duck, etc.) Personality ; She is a little timid, cautious, gentle, and good-natured. She loves going for walks with her family, spending time at her favorite park, and just being at home with her family. She also loves walks, parks, and hikes, and at home, she's happy to be in her own space (fluffy or crate) or sit quietly by her family's side.
