Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Jacqueline BBedford, UK858 contributionsWe were staying about 40 minutes away so decided to visit. We parked in the car park in The Sun Inn, which is more or less opposite the house, if you cross the road and go through the arch if you walk to the end of the road the museum is on the corner.
We got a very nice friendly welcome taken up stairs, which had all his book names on, into a little room and shown a video to give us a taste of the times he lived in .
You then walk through the house, seeing bedroom, attick toy room, kitchen, and the washroom the garden.
We didn't realise how many books he has written. They have them all for sale in the little shopWritten 30 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve R1 contributionThis is one of the most amazing micro pubs we’ve visited. A wonderful welcome is worth more than anything and you get that from the staff as you enter. Service with a smile and chat and beer that is second to one for me! The beer/ale selection is outstanding with a choice and variety that I wish I had time to try them all. Clean and fresh drinks which to me shows how much they look after the quality of the pour. As a visitor from out of town I will most definitely return for another sample of the hospitality and certainly the array of drinks on offer. Thank you for your hospitality T&G. See you again soon. 🍻Written 4 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
