Populated predominantly by the Irish, this area has come to be known as County Kilburn. Here we witness the loves, lives and laughs of a disparate group of dreamers, losers and ever-hopefuls.

A film that praises the Irish community and publand of Kilburn in North London, County Kilburn is a low-budget character-based comedy from 2000 that was clearly hoping for cult status. Judging by the fact that just two people prior to me have logged it on LB, and that I am the first to actually review it on here, it doesn't appear to have been successful - though there are some favourable reviews on Amazon at least.
The film tells the story of Mickey (Ciaran McMenamin) a somewhat hapless Irish bartender approaching his 25th birthday, his final day in the pub and a crossroads in his life. With the pub's landlord in hospital, Mickey has to step up to the plate…
