Grilled Rib Eye Steak 400gr was cooked to medium rare with a perfect pink colour💕 Steak had a rich and depth flavour and its texture was incredibly juicy and tender😋🥩

Aside from the steak, the Grilled Sagabuta Pork truly stood out to me😍 Pork was tender, well seasoned and not heavy🤣 You could see the middle parts of the pork was on the pink side, just super tempting🐷 As our stomachs were bloated already, we wrapped the meat up and brought them home😌 And it still tasted good in the next day👍🏻

LPM is acclaimed for its world class French Toast🤩 Finally came to the highlight of the night!!!✨ French toast was custardy with a pillowy soft interior🍞 The thin caramelised layer on the outside was crunchy and had a toffee taste🤤 Spice Cinnamon Ice Cream on the side was a good contrast to the warm toast🍨 Absolutely in loved with this scrumptious pair🤎

Back at one of my favourite restaurants in HK, to try out their White Truffle specials and we were so blown away by how delicious everything was! — Wow! This was quite the dish. — Was worried this would be too heavy/rich but they absolutely nailed the flavours and sauce here. The cream was flavourful, well seasoned with an aromatic cheesy flavour that wasn’t overpowering so that the white truffle couldn’t shine through. This came with a very generous serving of white truffle shavings which had sweet, oaky notes that complemented the cheese flavours really well.

— Probably the best french toast in HK or ever in my opinion. The french toast is an absolute treat to end with, as it’s soft, with a custardy inside that is so decadent and delicious. With a crispy exterior to contrast, it’s simply irresistible. The spice ice cream is creamy, with a strong but not overpowering cinnamon flavour that goes so well with the warm french toast.

— This is a must order main dish for me whenever I come here! No place does marinated chicken as good as LPM. Grilled to absolute perfection, the chicken is incredibly tender, juicy and so flavourful. Their signature citrus marinade is a perfect blend of sweet and acidic citrus fruits that complement the chicken so well to elevate its flavours naturally. This dish doesn’t need much else and shines on its own.

It was a weekday evening and we booked the restaurant week promotion set dinner. It was a hot day and the restaurant was quite full. We were seated near the entrance from Stanley Street.

The set price for the restaurant week dinner was $588 per person and I did not order any course with extra add-on. I chose Snails with Garlic Butter and Parsley as starter; Marinated Baby Chicken as Main; Sautéed Broccolini as Side dish; and French Toast with Spice Ice Cream for Dessert. The set did not include tea or coffee and we ordered a sparkling water (Evian) which was $85 per bottle.

Here are my tasting notes for the day:

Before the starter arrived, they gave us two tomatoes 🍅 and a huge lemon😅. We were supposed to use the knife on the table and make our own salad with them; “sprinkled with olive oil, and salt and pepper”, the waiter that served us said. We did and it turned out quite fun and the tomatoes were ripe and sweet. They also gave out bread at this juncture to enjoy with the salad which I forgot to take photo
. Quite enjoy this homely experience I must say.

Snails with Garlic Butter- this is supposed to be their signature dish and it did not disappoint. The look of the piping hot snails with generous amount of herbs on top was already very inviting when it was served. Flavour was full on, snail was soft and the herby garlic butter was so good that I tipped out all the goodness from the shell on my plate and dipped my bread on it. It was absolutely moreish. So good

Marinated Baby Chicken and Sautéed Broccolini - the chicken had been confit in citrus and it turned out moist, juicy with the right amount of acidity. Delicious
. The sautéed broccolini was done beautifully retaining the right amount of crunch and also of generous portions.

French Toast with Spice Ice Cream - the slice of French toast had a crust to it like cracking a crème brûlée top and the bread inside was silky soft, pillowy and creamy which was delicious. The ice cream had cinnamon flavour but I wished it could come in a bigger size to go with the toast.

The overall service was good, the team at the restaurant was attentive. The only drawback would be the layout of the entrance to the restaurant. On a hot day, people coming through the entrance doors would inevitably bring the sweltering heat in despite the use of a thick curtain to shield out the unwanted hot air. As there were alfresco dining too outside, traffic through those doors were inevitable. Even they put fans out, it didn’t help much and did affect the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

之前一直聽我呢位朋友講呢間餐廳好好味所以朋友最後選擇呢位餐廳為我慶祝生日朋友一早就訂左枱,所以我地去到就可以即刻安排入座sweet corn salad with pomegranate and herbs本身我好鍾意食粟米,呢個頭盤好好食Snails with garlic butter好香好香牛油味D麵包都脆,用黎送garlic butter就perfectHomemade Pappardelle with Beef Ragout and Mushroom意粉口感比較硬,不過d牛好淋,好好味其實個牛扒煎得岩岩好,不過d血就令賣相扣左d分Creme brûlée超級超級推介,本身鍾意食甜品人士真係唔好錯過,真係好滿足整體餐廳環境都幾好,食物質數又好,值得去chill下

The food was alright.But their service was terrible, I almost feel like I was having a meal in 澳牛. They cleared up your plates before you even finished your food and showed annoyed face even when there was at least 20 minutes left till your expected time of handing over the table.This was unacceptable especially we were paying 800pp for a timed dinner. At last when we politely ask for a photo, the waitress was behaving rudely as we used one more second to settle down ourselves (saying 點啊 in a ve

I would definitely not recommend anyone of you reading this to come to this restaurant.
You can pay 100-200pp more for a much better service and non timed decent dinner in a hotel.
Spend your money right.

P.S. There are actually wiser ways to ask your customers to leave time (which we actually do)
Please respect your profession and I respect yours too

食過一次佢嘅valentine's day menu就愛上咗,每次想食法國菜又唔想諗就去LPM我本身係一個唔食蕃茄既人,但係!佢個Burrata with cherry tomato 啲蕃茄好好食!啲蕃茄仔好甜,加埋burrata好正白蘆筍,唔係成日食到,不過無咩特別每次黎既必食,因為大隻既田螺都唔係咁易有,佢做得好夠味仲有個羊架我地今次仲試左佢好出名既French toast,但唔係我心目中中意既french toast style~以下2個dish係之前試既,唔係今次lunch食佢地既 Scallop cappacio都好出色我個人唔太好油封鴨腿,但佢都做得唔錯,唔會好油,幾好入口

8 of us went to LPM on a very busy Saturday evening in mid-Sept to celebrate birthday. Bar is a big part and it was one of the nosiest restaurants I have ever been too. It was full house and you literally have to yell when talking. This is just not an elegant French restaurant suitable for a date or relaxing conversations. We sat near the entrance and smoke from cigarette kept flowing into the restaurant from outdoor seats. Our table was narrow, so unbearable that we had to request moving it tow

8 of us went to LPM on a very busy Saturday evening in mid-Sept to celebrate birthday. Bar is a big part and it was one of the nosiest restaurants I have ever been too. It was full house and you literally have to yell when talking. This is just not an elegant French restaurant suitable for a date or relaxing conversations. We sat near the entrance and smoke from cigarette kept flowing into the restaurant from outdoor seats. Our table was narrow, so unbearable that we had to request moving it towards the bar.
Bread – you could choose either sliced plain or wheat baguette, tasted normal, came with olive and butter.

Appetizer – shellfish salad is made with crab and lobster and the meat are fresh and sweet. Beef tartar was fresh and tender, I think it could have stronger mustard sauce with higher acidity though.

Main dish – ribeye steak was tender with good fat content, flavourful and cooked nicely to medium. Unfortunately, beef pasta was way over seasoned – extra saltiness has spoiled the nice Ragout sauce.

Chicken with Foie Gras was a $1198 signature dish for sharing. Large portion and well cooked, the chicken was tender, juicy and flavourful. Foie Gras was as good as it could be, though it didn’t quite blend into the chicken, maybe its better when eaten as a standalone dish. There was a piece of baguette in the chicken soaked with all the fat and flavour, a bit tough to bite but it got all the essence from the dish. The chicken itself was a good one but perhaps not superb, I think it was a frozen chicken.

We also ordered few other salads and pasta, they were okay but not outstanding. We finished the meal with French toasts, they are like crème brulee covered in pastries. Quite a nice twist.

An important note that bottled water is priced at HK$85, and waitresses were very eager to get us more of them. No wonder – we didn’t know the price until we had the bill, and we simply think they're not worth. We later found out that they do serve free tap water, but one of the waitresses gave us a clear indication that they don’t prefer serving that.

The final bill was around HK$4.7k. Solid cooking, good meat. But at this price point, there are restaurants with the same quality and portion but better environment, and hopefully less pricey bottled water that bring no value to the meal as diners.

老細請生日同事lunch,我有幸黐餐☺️帶咗我哋去中環一間法國菜餐廳。聽到個心都離一離,有無dress code嫁?我今日街坊嚟咋wor😧入去去坐底其實成個感覺都係輕鬆,餐廳用地中海風格,所以都有少少fusion 喇!唔係隆重、拘謹嘅法蘭西風格。整餐飯覺得比較出色喺法式焗田螺、法式馬鈴薯千層派和法式吐司。烤羊架其實都不錯,煎焗時間控制得好,沒丁點血水喺碟,剛好嘅medium rare,但切咗第一啖有羊騷味,再食就無啦!第二件羊架都無騷味…相信係處理時,未完美去走脂肪🫢食物水準不錯,服務也還可以。只係以呢個價錢,服務要再details 多啲,例如斟水唔好斟到98%滿🤣

入去去坐底其實成個感覺都係輕鬆,餐廳用地中海風格,所以都有少少fusion 喇!唔係隆重、拘謹嘅法蘭西風格。

烤羊架其實都不錯,煎焗時間控制得好,沒丁點血水喺碟,剛好嘅medium rare,但切咗第一啖有羊騷味,再食就無啦!第二件羊架都無騷味…相信係處理時,未完美去走脂肪🫢
