I began attending San Diego Mesa College after I graduated in 2022. Ever since I started I have had a great experience with the school. The professors, students, and staff within the school are all very inclusive and do their best to make sure everyone feels welcomed and supported. There have been many times where I had personal struggles that interfered with my school life but the professors and counselors were nothing but supportive. I have made many friends throughout the semesters i’ve taken and we have grown a very close bond! Some of my professors have been the most caring and motivational people i’ve met in my life. A professor I had in the last semester I attended pushed me harder than anyone before and really motivated me to do better. I was very moved by the caring nature of my professor, it was very inspiring to have someone believe in me so much. I have always learned something in my classes, but this semester was the first time i felt excited to learn.
I love the beauty of the campus and the professors are great!!! There could be more student engagement as far as clubs and activities or events, but the ones that are involved help with that!!
San Diego Mesa College accepted me right away. It was easy to apply, to find my major, find classes, easy to get access to everything, etc. Professors are nice and helpful as well.
Being at San Diego Mesa College is actually a place that I will miss once I transfer, I met a lot of new people and even made friends that I hang out with often from Mesa. After High School I did step away from my friends from high school and was extremely depressed for one semester, but the next semester and more semesters to come I was able to create new relationships with people who were real and genuine people. Mesa provided a safe and comfortable environment with lots of opportunities to meet new people, network, join clubs, and so much more. I was also apart of their EOPS program which has been an extremely helpful program as well as the PROMISE program. I have 3 other siblings with two of them in college and with my dad being the only one working I was able to receive an abundant amount of financial support from Mesa and the programs they offered, I have nothing bad to say about this CC and I will miss it very much when I graduate.
professors were very helpful, very diverse student population so theres no need to fee left out. a top choice for a 2 year transferring to a 4 year
Mesa College is a great college. The professors and counselors are great to interact with. Very helpful. I wouldn’t change my experience at Mesa college. My experience at San Diego Mesa College has been overwhelmingly positive. As a freshman, I've found the support and resources available on campus to be invaluable. The assistance provided for anything I need help with, whether it's academic or personal, has been exceptional. One aspect I particularly appreciate is the quiet and conducive environment of the library. Another highlight of Mesa College is its diversity. I'm also impressed by the accessibility of support services and the dedication of the professors. There are numerous resources and individuals willing to assist students, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to succeed. The professors genuinely care about their students' academic growth. In terms of areas for improvement, while my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, there's always room for growth. Perhaps expanding certain facilities or services to accommodate the growing student population could enhance the overall experience even further.
Really nice campus, friendly staffs, professors and students all around campus, amazing counselors who are willing to give guidance and overall a great small community college for everyone :)
I loved the campus over all and was very glad that it was located near my home, loved the affordable pricing as well.
I honestly love my time here at San Diego Mesa College, especially with how open the environment is and how there are a lot of people who supports me throughout my journey
Over all my experience at Mesa college has been good, there are plenty of resources that the college offers you if you plan to transfer to a 4 year
Mesa is a great college. The teachers seem passionate about what they're teaching and they understand that students struggle with affording textbooks. It feels alive and many people end up taking at least one class, even just for fun. Make sure to leave early in order to find parking.
I wouldn’t change my school for nothing is really chill and peaceful I finally get to be me in a school. I love it and I only go two times a week so I wouldn’t change anything.

The logistics involved with being a student, are more difficult than actually being a student. The course work is the easy part. It can sometime be dealing with things such as such registration, purchasing books, financial aid, or even getting ahold of faculty for important issues can be more difficult than the course work itself.

More parking and make it economical I pay for parking and this seems too extreme. We are not born with money. Give us also more financial opportunities. Maybe add a Starbucks and a chick fil A would be more upscale.
