Very nice urban park. It features an astonishing diversity of fauna and flora in such a small stretch of natural reserve. One of its highlights is definitely the iguanas and crocodiles zone. Yes, you read it right! There are many types of iguanas resting on the trees above the lake full of crocodiles. It's worth every attempt to make a photo shoot of it. If you're lucky, you'll be able to spot a few birds as well. It was also nice to notice that there's a space for muscle building, which is ideal for those looking for an open air workout spot. All along the walking/running pathways in the park, there are recreational spaces built for children. So, for young ones it's a lot of fun! I also noticed there was a small museum in the back entrance of the park, but it just wasn't opened. The park entrance is free of charge, and there is plenty of space for parking cars.

The place is located across the street from Mega/Costco.

Many people come there in the morning for a run - the park has a long trail that goes through la selva (jungle) that was preserved in the middle of the city. You can see a lot of birds and iguanas along the path. Close to one of the exits they have a playground and a little museum - the latter does not have a lot of funding, so it's not very interesting.

But if you like open-air, if you enjoy walking - that's a good place to explore.

This fairly large park is centrally located and is a nice park for a early morning workout (just installed new exercise equipment) or just a leisure stroll. The signs are regarding the trees and other point of interest in the park are welcomed. They have a small "museum" within the grounds worth looking at to get a flavor of the beginnings of Cancun. Remember to bring bug repellant as it's mosquito city….worth the walk.

I love this park, it is our favorite to go walking or running. You can see a few animals, there is a playground for children, & for grown ups you have tai Chi & Yoga.

A nice place to exercise or just walk. Ubicated in Cancun´s downtown, this place is a very pleasent and quiet park to walk around and know more about local history, plants and trees, and if you are lucky you may even see wildlife, such as south american coati´s, guacamayas, parrots and alligators. Its has facilities to exercise, paths to walk and a museum.
I really enjoy to jog in the morning.
Open from 6 am till 5 pm everyday.

We came across Parque Kabah by accident and we’re so glad we did. It’s beautiful and perfect for people if every age. We were the only tourists there as well - it’s definitely a locals place to spend time. We’ll be going again I’m sure.

Love this park. It's right in the city. It's a great place to walk or to go workout. They have a few ponds with some crocodiles so that's awesome. They also have a little pond with turtles. They have these little creatures that are similar to a raccoon called coatis running all over the place. It can be very humid so I suggest taking a lot of water. Also bring mosquito repellant since you'll be needing it. They've got a "museum" with the history of the park and how it was founded. They've also got educational programs for the locals. Best part of its location, it's in front of Costco, so if you've got a membership you can go and get some lunch or free samples.

ecological park in downtown Cancun, entrance right accross from Costco. Super place to walk, jog or bike, natural and beautiful, and if you are lucky you will see some interesting critters in the jungle!

This is a nice place in Cancun city, and there are not a lot of places to be seen there. There is not so much to see.

Parque Urbano Kabah is worth a visit if you're in the area. It's a jungle-y park with walking/running trails, a kids playground, small museum, crocodile pools, a turtle pond, outdoor exercise equipment, and wandering raccoon-like animals called "coatis".

If you're staying in Cancun and you're tired of concrete, this park has plenty of this vegetation that will make you believe that you're not in Cancun anymore (if you use your imagination).

The trail goes in a loop that you can walk easily (it's quite well maintained) and the coatis are a lot of fun to watch (the groundskeepers feed them fruit so you'll see plenty near the fruit piles).

There are two entrances to this park (with parking lots in both) - on Ave Nichupte and across from Costco on Ave Rodrigo Gomez.

Recommended for kids, couples, and people looking for a safe place to walk or run during their stay in Cancun.
