Burchfield Park

With 540 acres of scenic woods, trails and beach, Burchfield Park is Ingham County's largest park. Ribboned throughout by the Grand River, this outdoor haven harbors some of the best bank and boat fishing available in Ingham County. Burchfield Park's stocked fishing pond offers anglers a chance to hook 8-13" trout. Please note there is a vehicle entrance fee to enter Burchfield Park year round.

Burchfield Park offers a beach, bathhouse, canoe & kayak rentals and trips, cross country skiing & rental, hiking trails, two 18 hole disc golf courses, mountain biking trails,  picnic grounds and shelters, playgrounds, sledding hills, softball diamond, stocked fishing pond, winter snack bar, and a winter warming lodge. Hours of Operation:

The park opens one half hour before sunrise for pedestrian access and 8:00am for vehicle access. The park closes at sunset, unless otherwise posted. Winter hours may vary depending on snow conditions, please call 517-676-2233 for specific winter hours. The park closes at 5pm on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas day.
