Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle How to Be a Latin Lover is rude, randy (particularly among the older women), and heartwarmingly cute. As one of the gigolos says, "Once you lower your expectations, the sky's the limit. Rated: 3/5 May 4, 2017 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen Hollywood Reporter OK, so it will never be mistaken for vintage Pedro Almodovar or Bigas Luna, but the feel-good satire How to Be a Latin Lover nevertheless gives you less cause to be a hater than you might have expected. May 1, 2017 Full Review Claudia Puig TheWrap Derbez brings warmth and intermittent goofy humor to this too-broad and uneven comedy. The best moments are between him and co-stars Salma Hayek and young Raphael Alejandro, who both have an easy chemistry with Derbez. Apr 28, 2017 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review How to Be A Latin Lover feels like an attempt to tick every box on a demographic chart, and in the process of attempting to please everyone, it short changes so much. May 6, 2020 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens How To Be A Latin Lover is absolutely hilarious, standing firmly on its comedy legs but with a story and film as a whole elevated by the warmth and charm of Eugenio Derbez. Oct 30, 2019 Full Review Rachel Wagner rachelsreviews.net It's definitely on an Adam Sandler level of humor. Rated: D+ Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Null It was a heartfelt comedy. Had moments that had me laughing and there really isn't anything bad about it, but it isn't anything groundbreaking. Mostly predictable, but a fun watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Priscilla R Hilarious!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/10/24 Full Review Georgan G 3 & 1/4 stars. The humor is clearly low brow, but who cares if it makes you laugh?! Enjoyed the growing relationship between sister & brother & nephew. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Jesús Miguel G This movie, in addition to being disgusting, written with paws, It's very boring, I couldn't watch it for even 10 minutes when I ended disgusted and bored Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/23 Full Review Emilliano S Trying hard rom com even Latin people can't appreciate. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/04/23 Full Review Audience Member The tv show sequel Acapulco is so much much better. I did like parts of this movie. But man it has so many movie "coincidences" which is the worst most cliche part of this movie. But in the end the tv show is better but I had some fun but overall it's somewhat enjoyable but still could be a whole lot better.
