This article contains spoilers for the Star Wars: The Bad Batch series finale.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch has become a major part of the Star Wars mythos. Along with filling in some unanswered questions about what happened in the early days of the Empire's rule, The Bad Batch has filled in the blanks for some important storylines spanning through the sequel trilogy as well.

What has really made The Bad Batch stand out is its characters. While the majority of the show's cast are Clone Troopers, the men who make up Clone Force 99 are not like the other clones; they all look different. Add in the first female clone with Omega, and The Bad Batch opens itself up to some interesting casting choices for a live-action transition. With a strong supporting cast of friends and enemies, many of the Star Wars: The Bad Batch characters could still appear in later projects throughout the Star Wars timeline.

Updated on May 4, 2024 by Jennifer Roy: The Bad Batch has finally come to its epic conclusion, and fans are now wondering how the characters might be incorporated into other projects in the Star Wars universe. Some of the voice actors are already the perfect choice to bring their characters to life in live action, but other roles could be played by new actors given a chance to shine in the Star Wars galaxy. This article has been updated with some new choices for actors for the roles of Clone Force 99, their enemies and their allies.

12 Only Temuera Morrison Can Play Rex

One of the most famous Clone Troopers, if not the most famous, Rex played a major role in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. Like all the clones who aren't part of the Bad Batch, Rex looks and sounds exactly like Jango Fett, which means there's only one person who can play him in live-action: Temuera Morrison.

Morrison already has returned as Boba Fet in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Taking on the role of Rex could allow Morrison to show off more of his range. Rex was a vital part of the Rebellion, and as Star Wars live action explores the New Republic era, Rex also could still be a major player as the galaxy prepares for the threat of Grand Admiral Thrawn.

11 Dan Stevens Can Play The Pomposity Of Vice Admiral Rampart

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Proves Nepotism Is The Empire's Greatest Weakness
Thanks to Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the greatest source of Imperial failure throughout the franchise has been highlighted: nepotism.

Vice Admiral Rampart was put in charge of Project War-Mantle, which shut down the clone program on Kamino and switched the Empire's military to humans. His way of doing it was to essentially betray the Kaminoans and destroy their structures, leaving no trace of the cloning facilities that were used to create the Clone Troopers. In the final season, Rampart plays an integral role and shows that he is ultimately a man who will only look out for himself. While Rampart does not survive, he could still be included in Star Wars stories that take place before Star Wars: The Bad Batch's end.

Vice Admiral Rampart has a sense of stillness and superiority about him that makes it clear from the moment he appears on the screen that he's one bad guy. Dan Stevens has proven himself more than capable of pulling that type of character off. Dan Stevens could master both Rampart's more pompous, ridiculous moments while still portraying the threat that Rampart poses throughout his time in the Empire and afterward.

10 Rhea Perlman Can Still Play Cid

Cid is one of the most important figures in Star Wars: The Bad Batch's first two seasons. The Trandoshan bar owner on Ord Mantell who also happens to work in the black market is a down and dirty street smart figure who has not only helped the Bad Batch make a living, she has also taught them about how the universe really works. Her betrayal was also devastating to the team, and she remains a complicated figure in the Star Wars mythos.

On The Bad Batch, Cid is voiced by Rhea Perlman, most famous for playing Carla on Cheers. Since Cid would more than likely be CGI, there's no reason to cast someone else to voice the character. Rhea Perlman has the range to pull off Cid's complicated character arc, both her begrudging affection and her penchant for turning on her friends when her own life is on the line. A return of Cid to the live action galaxy could help flesh out the seedier side of the New Republic, and she would be a natural character to possibly interact with Maz Kanata or Hondo Ohnaka in the future.
