Our daughter loves school and feels safe, supported and inspired each day. The parents are very involved and kind, there’s a real sense of community, and we are happy to be part of Friends.
Stellar experience. Heartwarming community and amazing eduction. As an alum, I am still friends with a plethora of the students I went to school with. The alumni network is vast and responsive.
The administration is completely out of touch. The school and teachers are anti free speech despite claiming to be so inclusive and making sure that students feel like they belong. I'm all for inclusion and belonging, but that must mean for all people. This school shoves left-wing ideas down the throats of students and tries to prevent anyone with different political views from having a voice. The student body is so far left that most of my grade called themselves socialists and communists. Politically I am definitely in the middle, but even I can see how far this school has gone. Politics should not be a main focus of the school. Learning is the main focus. Teachers bring politics into the classroom and tell students what they should or should not believe, which is, by definition, indoctrination. The school is not willing to have conversations with people on both sides of the isle which I think is a major issue. If you want a school that is crazy woke then this is the place for you.
