Vic Sotto Says Eat Bulaga Keeps Him Feeling Young

Vic Sotto continues to promote good vibes

Bossing Vic Sotto said that the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga keeps him feeling young.

Vic started the show with his brother Tito Sotto and close friend Joey de Leon. They are known together as the TVJ trio. For more than four decades, they have brought laughter and entertainment to many Filipino households.

Last weekend, Bossing Vic celebrated his birthday on the show. His family was there to celebrate with him. He shared in an interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, that he did not expect that people and his family would dedicate that moment to him.

This made Vic Sotto emotional, especially when it came to his family as his daughter Tali with his wife Pauleen Luna also sang.

When asked about the gift he gave to himself, Bossing said that it is more of giving each other love. “I’m most grateful for the gift of family and the gift of friends,” the veteran comedian-host said.

He also said that this is one of the most meaningful birthday celebrations that he has. Then, he was asked about his secret to staying and feeling young. Bossing said that a big factor in this is his daily show.

Just be happy, keep the good vibes going. You know, whatever challenges you face, just surrender them to God. You just need to be happy. Happy with what you’re doing. It’s great to have ‘EAT Bulaga’ every day, that’s what really keeps me feeling young,” Vic said.

Previously, the veteran comedian-host addressed the fake news about their show that led to the online word war between the Eat Bulaga fans and the fans of their rival show It’s Showtime.

He resonated Joey’s statement that they don’t consider the Kapamilya noontime show as their “kaaway.” Vic Sotto said, “Iba ang kaaway namin.”
