If you need help with anything, good luck. Sometimes the professors will not answer your emails, the academic advisors they initially refer you to only help with a basic overview, and if you meet with a program specific advisor there is a chance that they will basically tell you its a waste of your time and theirs to apply/continue with the program. If you need help with anything on the administration side, they would rather leave you on hold until you get fed up and hang up yourself then answer your call and help you with what you need. I waited on hold for more than 45 minutes and never heard back from them. I have also had them not even bother to answer the phone and if you leave a voicemail asking for them to call you back, they will not call you back.
The university itself is decently good, what I think it is best from this university is the welcoming from the biological sciences department. The professors are good and kind, and in smaller classes you will get the opportunity to talk with professors, ask to be involved in research and even get opportunities to develop your own project and start making publications.
The academic side to this college is very strong and if you’re willing there are a lot of opportunities within each degree. They promote research and job opportunities. The campus is also very safe and they have an app that allows for more safety measures if you would like. The athletics and school atmosphere is fun and enjoyable. The party scene is very small but the campus puts on events to try to help with that. The dorms are all very nice the only down side is the food isn’t very good. However, the fast food options on campus are efficient and good.
