Joe L. Hardesty, age 78, of Irvington, KY, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, June 28, 2021.
He was born on June 26, 1943 in Guston, KY, son of the late David and Goldie Smith Hardesty.
Joe was a truck driver for most of his life. He loved having his coffee at the Green Valley restaurant where he never met a stranger and would talk with everyone. Joe was also an avid gun enthusiast and loved watching westerns.
He is survived by his daughter, Angie (Cliff) Capps of Irvington; son, Dennis (Jeri) Basham of Irvington; sisters, Mary (Howard) Brandy of Guston and Linda (Randall) Brandy of Guston; brother, Paul (Connie) Hardesty of Brandenburg; grandsons, Jacob and Ethan Capps of Irvington; granddaughters, Amber (Matt) Vertress of Big Spring and Ashlyn Basham of Irvington.
