Overview of TESDA
TESDA was formed by Republic Act No. 7796, also known as the “Technical Education and Skills Development Act of 1994,” which was signed into law on August 25, 1994 by President Fidel V. Ramos. Step #1: In your area, apply for evaluation at a TESDA-accredited assessment center/TESDA district or provincial office.

- Payment of Training Support Fund: The training support fund is an allowance given to the scholars who took part in the various training programs conducted by the TWSP, STEP, UAQTEA, and PESFA. After receiving the certification from the district or provincial office of the training support fund, the 50 percent payment is then processed.
- Availment of Scholarship Program: This service involves the registration and enrolment of individuals interested in a certain training course offered by a training center.
- Payment of Scholarship Voucher: The payment of government payables and obligations linked to the scholarship program will be covered by the Disbursement voucher. Before it can be certified and approved by authorized signatories and employees, the voucher must undergo various checks and verification procedures.
- Catering Services: The catering services offered by the Women’s Center of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) are for non-government organizations and government agencies.
