App does what it's supposed to mostly. The points are nice. "Free" items on occasion for the win! However. As of around a month ago, when I try to customize items, mustard isn't an item able to be removed or added. It just isn't in the list of items in customization menus. Had to toss my burger the other day because it was drowned with mustard that wasn't listed as an item on it. Had it been in the list, able to be removed, I would have done so. No longer ordering on app until this is fixed.

Ashley, the customization choices may be limited on the app since the location has control over them.

Changing rating to 1 star. The $1 drink deal says it applies to 2 drinks for $1 each. But every time I get 2, the second drink rings in at full price. It has never done this before the latest update. Always been able to get both drinks for $1 each in one order. Even the verbage on the deal states that! The interface is not user friendly and has way too many steps to place an order. If you're trying to encourage people to use the app to save time and labor then make it more streamline!

When I try to use code in drivethrough, it says invalid, too many times. I don't find this super user friendly. It changes my chosen location every time. Lay out is overwhelming and disorganized. I do feel it recently slightly improved with ease of use but still is not dummy proof. Ex. The layout showed 3 burgers with one crossed out showing it was free. I removed what I thought was an extra burger. It wasn't an extra burger.

your app experience should be nothing but great. deals/rewards often refresh and time-out. make sure to not pull them up until you're at the speaker/register to avoid this issue. give our app a quick uninstall and reinstall to fix any issues you may have. otherwise, hit us up at: https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/feedback.html
