How reset wifi password on GoPro Hero3+
I have an old Hero 3+ that I have recently got given. The guy who gave it to me has no idea what the WiFi password is on the Camera so it is pretty much uesless to him which is why he gave it to me. I want to know if there is a way to reset the password or restore the camera to Factory Settings without the App.
You can reset the camera's wireless settings by following the steps at https://community.gopro.com/s/article/HERO3-3-Information-And-Troubleshooting?language=en_US#wifi.
This does not give me instructions on how to reset. Only how to update the camera.
Resetting the HERO3/3+ camera's wireless settings is the same as to update camera WiFi in the Help article above.
I did an update, did a hard reset and it still wants a password when connecting to Quik. Next step will be to slap this crap on the wall.
To verify, did you try the password as mentioned in the Help article's suggested steps?
I am looking everywhere for the wifi password reset as well and tried the steps. sadly It did not work.
