The Best Parts of Liberty High School
I have been a student of Liberty School District since Kindergarten and I love that your teachers are like your family. It is a small enough school district that everyone knows everyone. My dad even works at the school and is my math teacher. I like that the offer as many activities as possible and students are able to be involved in multiple groups at once such as FFA, Band, and sports. I think in bigger districts you might only get to join one or two activities.
The Worst parts of my school experience
Did I mention my dad is my math teacher? Just kidding, it's mostly fine but sometimes difficult.
Honestly if I could change anything I would make it harder for students to vape on school grounds.
What I would like to see change.
I wish there was more of a variety of food for lunches. It would be great to have more choices.

I came to Liberty in 7th grade and I have loved the environment and people but have felt differntly recently only because of all the things that are going on with the generations these days. Overall I feel that Liberty is a safe school and always has been but I feel like the teachers could get a little more invovled and really prepare students for graduating high school.
I moved to Liberty school district 6 years ago. The education us top notch. The teachers actually care about their students and their wellbeing and not just about a paycheck. Because it's such a good school, students travel from 30 miles away just to attend this school when there are other school districts in their area. The school focuses on not only the education of the students but also their happiness, safety and wellbeing.
I found it a lot easier to be learning at Liberty 5 days a week, compared to what I had been doing before at a different school, which was going to school two days a week and being homeschooled for the rest of the days. The sports programs are great, the coaches are helpful toward growth and also kind to the athletes, specifically in Cross Country and Track & Field.
Liberty High School is a great environment I enjoy the small town and the community support is amazing. Something that could change would be including a future readiness’s class to prepare us for life after high school.
its very open and u are given lots of opportunities for advancement. some of the staff are quite annoying to deal with but overall most teachers try their best to improve your high school expierience.
Liberty is filled with amazing and caring teachers who do their best to ensure that students pass and flourish. The school heads work extremely hard to make the school a safe and inclusive space for everyone. I highly recommend this school to anyone over other schools in the area.
I learned a lot at Liberty High School, however I did not particularly enjoy going to school. Teachers definitely picked favorite students, which got really frustrating, and often times I felt like class was a waste of time. But I'd have to say that the English department at Liberty is phenomenal. I loved all my English teachers, the creative writing course, and especially the public speaking class. There were definitely issues with how problems got resolved, but I do believe that Liberty is attempting to become more inclusive and honest about the flaws within the student population. Overall, Liberty was a decent school, but I am glad to be almost done attending there.
Liberty High School is filled with a tight-knit, supportive community and staff. You will be pushed academically and athletically throughout your time at Liberty. Liberty is very small, with around 130 kids attending the high school. Although staff and resources are limited, I would like to see some different electives than what Liberty currently offers. This will help expand students' education and help students out later in their life.
Liberty High School is a very strong community with some amazing teachers. For such a small school, the academics are very good. However, there are not many clubs or activities that students can be involved in, but the ones offered are supported by the community and fun. Overall a great school with a great supportive community.
I love it here! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to switch schools. Great community and fans.
I had a great 2 years in this school. If I had the chance to go through it again, I definitely would! My teachers were all really nice and welcoming when I first got there and my schoolmates were all awesome.
I like liberty for the community in the arts departments. We were a family. Most teachers were nice and taught well however, Liberty has hired teachers that don't know what their doing before or doesn't understand how to ingage students. The principle and the staff are wonderful, they respect and make an effort for you to feel safe. But this school mostly white. So there has been threats and racial slurs said that the school handled well. I wish there was a more welcoming atmoshere for other cultures. Also the ability to branch out when reading books. I didn't read much diverse books till senoir year. So Liberty has pros and cons about it. Over all, I had a good time there and the exsperiences have made me who I am today. A proud smart, latina graduate.
I loved the family feel of the school and the competitive nature. The teachers and other school officials made my high school experience very enjoyable. The student body was very supportive and involved and the athletes were great people as well as students. I think that, (as a student athlete myself) the student athletes get the help and guidance that they need to succeed and prepare themselves for their futures. The teachers are understanding of all students and know how to relate to many different types of students and I feel that all students feel personally and emotionally supported at Liberty.
Liberty is great if you're looking for a small community and a great athletics program, but with the small and close knit community comes a few problems. Everyone is involved with your business, and drama is common. The staff are half and half. Some you'll love, others you'll hate. Typical high school, but with a better education
Loved all the teachers and staff, was always known by name even though I was rarely in attendance due to my involvement in the running start program they offered.
I was a student athlete throughout my 4 years at Liberty High School. I was known to be a great soccer player at Liberty High. However, I am a also a student athlete minority, therefore, I felt like an outsider looking in on an majority white campus, so inclusiveness was difficult for Liberty to achieve. This goes the same for graduation, when students amongst their peers are divided by academic cords and stoles represented by their GPA throughout their 4 years. By doing so, this defeats the purpose in striving to make progress in creating an environment with solidarity amongst staff and students. I believe that each student should have the opportunity to have a stole around their neck to complete the feeling of accomplishment of high school. This is the change that I would like to see at Liberty High School because a small change can greatly make a big difference.
