St. Petersburg High School Reviews
Rating 3.89 out of 5 426 reviews
St. Petersburg High School, aside from a few, has the best teachers. They are some of the most involved and dedicated teachers I have ever met. However, in spite of that, the school is greatly lacking in cooperation between said teachers, which causes internal problems for the students. I also would like to commend SPHS for its promotion of clubs because it is easy to be involved in the school community. Another thing I'd like to criticize is the bathroom situation, as the bathrooms are always in disarray and sometimes closed for no reason at all. I think this is due to administrative problems which comes from the lack of concern for the students. This year, the administration bought numerous segways for no reason which is a slap in the face to all the teachers at SPHS.
My best experiences at Saint Petersburg High School are the interactions with students and staff, quality of education, and my safety and feeling of security.
The teachers here are all phenomenal. All 21 courses I've taken at this high school had dedicated and engaging teachers. I can whole heartedly say that these teachers will be the source of my success in college and future far beyond the classroom. They have not only taught me the curriculum needed to pass high school, but also life lessons and knowledge of the real world so I can remain productive and successful in and out of the classroom.
I spent freshman year during Covid lockdown in Fairfax County in Virginia, and it is an understatement to say it is an upgrade when I transferred to this school for the remainder of my high school life. I believe the quality of education is extremely dependent on the teachers and the resources available. St Pete High School excels in both of these. St. Pete High is a secure place to learn.

Uncleanliness and unsafety in a school environment are significant concerns that can impact the well-being of students and staff. Clean environments prevent illness and maintain focus. Adequate facility maintenance is vital. Security measures, emergency preparedness, and addressing bullying contribute to safety. Collaboration among students, parents, and school officials is crucial for advocacy and communication to address these concerns effectively. Prioritizing these aspects creates a positive, healthy, and conducive learning environment.
