About the Court The Probate Court administers the filing and safe keeping of wills, probating of decedent estates, supervision of trusts, appointment of guardians and conservators over minors, adults, and developmentally disabled individuals, and processing of mental health treatment matters. |

Form Usage Pursuant to MCL 600.855 and MCR 5.113(A), any filing must be made on a form approved by the State Court Administrative Office (SCAO) if one exists. Outdated forms may not be used. You can access more information about forms by clicking here. |

Court Records - Access and Copies Access to Records You are welcome to visit the Probate Court Office to review the Court's public case records during public filing hours. Computer terminals and work spaces are available for your use. Purchasing Copies of Case Records Copies of case records are available for $1.50 per page except that copies of transcripts on file with the Court are $0.30 per page. The fee to certify a copy is an additional $10 per record. Blank SCAO forms are available for $1 per form. You are welcome to submit your request either in-person or by mail, fax, phone, or email.
