Great experience! We were there for the first time, celebrating my wife’s birthday. Service was great. As a nice touch, one of the hosts knew one of our guests and sent all the desserts to the table! It really enhanced the experience!

Delicious meal and fantastic service. The servers were friendly and made helpful suggestion. Filet was delicious. Espresso martini is one of the better ones we’ve sampled in Columbus!

My wife and had a reservation for Mother's day at 5:30 and were seated promptly. It took a while to get our drink orders and awhile for us to receive them. We received our salads about 45 minutes after arriving and our entrees 1 hour and 40 minutes after arriving (7:10pm). My Branzino was very good but my wife ordered the Twin Filets medium rare so we could share. They brought her one 6oz filet medium well. She didn't want to wait again for a refire and accepted it. Our waiter John was very pleasant and apologetic for our experience and said they were not prepared for the 800 guests that day. Many others around us were also upset as they had to wait an exorbitant amount of time for their meals. Needless to say we won't be back!

Took my mom there for Mother's Day. We have never been before. It was a nice atmosphere. The food was great. I will definitely go back.

We waited 20 minutes beyond our reservation time to get seated, our waitress forgot app. plates, and didn’t get utensils so we had to wait after our apps. came to flag her down. We constantly had to flag her for things because she never came to check on us. Food was good, but not up to its usual standard. It was Mother’s Day, so I understood it was busy, but it was not up to the higher standard I expected from this restaurant specifically when you’re spending the amount of money you spend on a meal there.

We had a wonderful experience for Mother’s Day Brunch! It was a perfect afternoon with all the doors and windows open, service was spectacular and the drinks and food were fabulous! Such a wonderful day!

I love the waiting staff here, they are all so respectful and kind. We didn’t have to wait long for our food either. I got the 8oz fillet medium rare and it was cooked very nicely. The only thing I could think of was the young hostesses, we didn’t feel welcomed at all. But overall, hostesses aside, I’ve always loved the Avenue.

Beyond very upset and disappointed with our experience! We had a 6pm reservation, as a courtesy i called because we were caught in traffic and pushed it to 6:15 to not cause scheduling conflict for them. I was assured on the phone this was not a problem, it was nothing but a problem when we got there. The hostess said it would be 10 minutes, we sat for a half hour while 6 Large parties were taken to their tables. Once we got to our table we waited 10 min for our waiter, he took our drink order-two pops two drinks from the bar. 10 min for the pops and 25 min for the cocktails. We ordered appetizers and right after that a manager brought us shrimp and green beans on the house for our ridiculously long wait. We informed our waiter of such and cancelled the appetizers we ordered- we were still charged for the appetizers we ordered but didn’t receive. Our service was beyond horrible! We waited and waited for everything, we were never checked on and could never find our server when we needed something. The only helpful person was the guy that served us our food. By the end of the meal and seeing that we were overcharged for our appetizers and inconvenience of the whole evening we didn’t even bother contesting the overcharges. It was supposed to be a special birthday dinner and it was awful. We have tried several Cameron Mitchell restaurants and are burned and disappointed every time. The service staff is awful and often times rude. They all need training on etiquette, promptness and attention to paying customers. They seem to be understaffed always and the staff they have are such a poor representation of the brand. Have no plans to return to any Cameron Mitchell restaurants and look forward to other restaurants in Columbus that I am sure an overall better experience.

My mother, husband, and I all ordered salads (my mother and I both ordered the Tavern), except they each added a protein. Their salads were literally 3x the size of mine, with their proteins served on the side of the salad portion. Pretty disappointing. The ambiance is A+, as it is with most Cameron Mitchell restaurants, but the food was overpriced for the quality. The service at the bar was phenomenal.

Wonderful restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant had tight seating but we never felt crowded. Waiter was excellent. He described the menu perfectly and was very attentive to our needs. The food was outstanding.

Our server Megan was very knowledgeable about the specials and informed me the oysters were from Chesapeake Bay. They were small, but sweet and delicious! Our overall experience was superb as it was our sons 55th birthday celebration. Cameron continues to present a lovely dining experience. Kudos to the Avenue!!! Douglas Kohler

Tonight we had the Lamb Chops and Pork Chop entrees. Both were tender and tasty. The menu has something for everyone. Service with John was great and a stop by manager CeCe to check on our meal optimizes good service.

My husband had scallops and he said they were excellent. My son had a strip that was delicious & cooked perfectly to order, med rare. Seared on the outside and red in the middle.

Yusef served my fiancé and me and he was great! He was clearly very knowledgable of the menu and gave us great dinner service. We were celebrating 2.5 years since we started dating and Yusef gave us a slice of cheesecake on the house. It was a good meal and a great experience.

Great steak spot. We weren’t served our rolls had to ask for it. Told tomato bisque soup and it was leeks and potato. Husband’s twin Oscar filets were good mine were rare when I asked for medium well two times. Sundae and cheesecake were delicious. It was a blip in food prep and service. We would definitely go back. GM was very nice and professional and she took care of my meal which was greatly appreciated.

We came here for a birthday dinner as we have for several years now. I’m sad to say I was so disappointed. The salmon dish was so salty I honestly couldn’t believe it. It tasted like they dropped the entire salt shaker on the plate. My scallops were okay but the lobster butter ruined it for me. Definitely way over-priced.
