Hotel Paris Prague garners appreciation for its amenities, with guests enjoying the well-appointed and spacious rooms, a varied breakfast selection, and an elegant spa, though some have mentioned issues with soundproofing and shower design. The hotel's rooms are often commended for their stylish comfort, but disappointments arise with views and inflexible late checkout policies. Staff are noted for their friendliness, yet there have been comments about slow service. The hotel's Art Deco atmosphere and cleanliness receive high marks, as does its prime location in Old Town Prague. However, opinions on value and customer service show a divide amongst travelers.

The hotel location is great, walking distance everywhere and only 5 min bolt ride from the main train station. Its a beautiful property, the rooms were clean, the elevators were working great, so was the AC. The hotel itself was very quiet even though it was located on a busy street.
We went to the bar and the young blond lady working at the bar provided us with an absolutely amazing service.

The biggest issue this hotel for us was the internet connection. In our room 209, the internet was so slow that many times we could not even load a page. It was on and off and the technician who came in confirmed this is a known hotel issue and there is nothing he can do about it.

The hotel has a knowledgable front desk service, however we were added “laundry fee” while we never use this service on our bill at the time of check out and it took some time for the front desk to clear that out. She had to make calls to the laundry department and wait for them to call her back before she was willing to clear the charges. This should not be the case at at a 5* property.

The breakfast consisted of a buffet - cold and hot items and I would consider it below average for 5* hotels in Europe.

Overall it is a beautiful property with mostly excellent service, but some things definitely have to be worked on. I would not be able to stay here again because of the major internet issues we have experienced on our stay.

We stayed for four nights during the heatwave in June 2022.

On arrival we were impressed by the beauty of the hotel. Check in was efficient, quick and straightforward. The hall porter took our bags to our room and explained how items in our room worked. We were pleased that the room had really effective controllable air conditioning. Also an easy to use safe.

We had reserved an executive room, which was worthwhile, we had a great view over Prague from our large windows (that could be opened to let in the air first thing in the morning). The bathroom was pristine and also had windows flooding the room with natural light. No issue with loo paper, maybe the problem other guests had reported had been resolved.

Breakfast was very good, yes the orange juice is not fresh squeezed, but this is central Europe not Florida. There was a good choice of hot food, excellent coffee and English breakfast tea. Service and staff were excellent. We witnessed one guest loudly complaining on our last morning, frankly I found the breakfast difficult to fault.

The hotel itself is a beautiful art nouveau building that has been loving restored to its former glory and is very well maintained.

Check out was efficient and the hall porter stored our bags for on on our day of departure.

The location of the hotel is perfect in that it sits on the edge of the old town and is only minutes walk from Old Town Square. Beside it is the Mumicipal House and in the other direction is a metro station, tram stops, a bank with cash machines and a handy small Billa supermarket (not at tourist prices). So you can travel to good restaurants outside the area that have great modern Czech cuisine.

If I return to Prague I would happily stay at the hotel again. Perhaps they can add a union flag to the many above the entrance canopy for us Brits.

Near perfect: we have stayed at the Hotel Pariz before and it's always good to revisit.

Centrally located near the Powder Tower and Municipal House the hotel's historic features and amazing art collection give atmosphere. Bedrooms and bathrooms have all modern amenities and are very clean (tho' my wife said a couple of power sockets nearer the bedroom mirror would be helpful). It was so nice to have classy individual toiletries instead of the bottles of shampoo and gel fixed to the wall found in many hotels.

Breakfast offered a wide selection served buffet style and Tony's Cafe provided a convenient place for evening drinks and meals plus a complementary glass of fizz. Returning from the opera one evening we found the kitchen had just closed but the waiter went out of his way to provide a selection of sandwiches.

All members of staff are welcoming, polite and helpful from checkin to checkout. Many hoteliers in the UK could learn how to provide an excellent guest experience from the Pariz. Very warmly recommended.

Nothing to recommend, underwhelmed. Service for breakfast was great, but didn’t feel overly comfortable with service at reception or in the bar, we have probably been spoilt by Asian hospitality. We paid a large amount for the Klimt Suite, it was large but had no view and overlooked an alleyway. Room was so hot, told if we wanted it cooler to open the windows. Location was good close to the Old Town, all meals we had were of a good standard.

This stunning, historic building in the centre of Prague is truly magical. The rooms and decor are absolutely stunning, the service is wonderful.

The location is perfect as it's far enough away from Old Town Square to not be super crowded at all hours.

We had our wedding reception in the restaurant and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Would highly recommend, well worth the money.

My wife and I came here for a long weekend break we were not disappointed at all the hotel is well placed within the old town with great access to the sites . We were initially allocated a room on the second floor however I always prefer rooms on a higher floor Monika was so helpful and friendly she kindly found us a room on the 4th floor with a much better view photo enclosed. We loved the hotel beautiful decor and the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We found all the staff friendly and welcoming I would recommend without hesitation. The only slight niggle was our shower water temp was rather temperamental and the shower head kept sliding down not a big issue but maintenance might want to take a look room 404 . Big thank you Monika always smiling and a great asset to the hotel 😀

This is a very comfortable hotel. This service is excellent and the staff very friendly.
Before we arrived I needed to find out if the National Museum was open on Christmas Day. The museum itself wasn’t a great deal of help and replied both that it was and wasn’t! The hotel was able to contact the museum on my behalf and confirm Christmas hours.

We have a decent sized room with a good bathroom with bath, shower, basin, toilet and bidet. The room itself has a balcony overlooking the street.

Breakfast is good and offers fruit, a range of hot and cold foods, cereals, pastries, etc.

I’d be quite happy to stay here again.

We booked this stunning hotel for a 4 night city break to celebrate our joint 60th birthdays. We took a chance and booked the ‘memorable stay’ package, which proved to be excellent value for money.
We had booked an executive room and were promised un upgrade, subject to availability. I’m not sure whether the room we were given was actually a junior suite, but it was a fabulous room on the 5th (top) floor, very large and full of character, with wonderful views over the rooftops of Prague to the castle on the hill. A bottle of good quality sparking wine, fresh strawberries and a box of the hotel’s praline chocolates were waiting in the room for us.
As part of the package we had a lovely, fine dining meal in Tony’s café , which is a well laid out Art Deco decorated space. We actually ate there several times over the 5 days - afternoon tea, lunch and a light supper - and had several drinks in the bar. Everything was first class, with very friendly (if rather relaxed) service, and good value for money bearing in mind the quality and the venue.
The location of the hotel is just perfect for sight seeing, right by the main square of the old town, but down a quiet side street. We really couldn’t have picked a better place for our celebratory break.

Beautiful surroundings and spotless. We decided to have dinner there one evening. The menu is not expansive but there are plenty of dishes to choose from. I had the flambe tiger prawns and my wife the goulash with dumplings both dishes were first class, for dessert we opted for the apple strudel which was delicious. We ate there on another occasion and again the food did not disappoint . Prices are reasonable though drinks depending on what you order can be

This suite at this beautiful Art Nouveau hotel is an absolute 'once in a lifetime' experience.

Actually, it was our second time. We spent here one night in 2011. We wanted to stay again as the suite has been completely renovated to be even more stylish. The price had dropped from 540 euros to 480 euros.

The 360-degree panoramic views from the tower must be the most stunning views at any Prague hotel.

We were lucky as our suite was ready on arrival at 11:30. We booked the transfer from the hotel for 36 euros.

While admiring the views from the tower, a stunning welcome pack was delivered downstairs. Besides that, during the check-in, we got vouchers for complimentary glasses of sparkling wine and a 15% discount coupon for Cafe de Paris where we had a pleasant late lunch.

The breakfast was served at Brasserie Paris. It had a wide selection of food.

The service was very friendly everywhere.

Unfortunately, the "spa" wellness center is not open during very convenient hours, at least not in the summer. It was open 2 pm to 8 pm so we were not able to use it.
