Bag Drop

  • After you check in online you drop your checked bags off when you arrive at the airport.
  • From April until September, if you are flying from Dublin or Cork airport between 05:30 and 08:00 in the morning, you can use our Evening before check in service. Simply, check in at one of the Express Bag Drop kiosks and drop your bags at the bag drop desk the evening before, between 16:00 and 19:45. This service is available for both Aer Lingus and Aer Lingus Regional flights.
  • Find out more about our new Express Bag Drop service at Dublin airport.
  • As always, please ensure that your carry-on baggage is within the specified allowance. This is for your own ease of travel, as bags outside of this allowance must be checked in, and the relevant bag fee will apply. Find out more about your carry-on baggage allowance.
Allow sufficient time at the airport
  • We advise all customers who check in online to allow sufficient time to check baggage and proceed through security checkpoints. The time necessary for security and document checks may vary by airport, day and time.
  • We advise you to be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. If you arrive late to the boarding gate, you unfortunately won't be allowed to travel.
