Would never ever use this cruise line! Was very expensive and the poorest quality cruise I have ever been on. We have done 17 cruises with various lines. This cruise was from New Orleans to Memphis. Not sure where to start. The cabin had not been vacuumed as had potato chips etc on various parts of floor which were never vacuumed either on entire 6 day cruise. The toilet roll holder had fallen off wall and was never put back. The main theme of this cruise was out of stocks. Out of stock of Chardonnay Sprite Zero English breakfast tea bags vanilla ice cream hot dogs all on and off from second day. The coffee machine broke down third day and couldn’t b fixed. As for getting a table for dinner. Seems a table for 4 was just too much to ask. When u did get a table there was always cutlery missing no bread and no service. Even asked the manager for water which never arrived. It seems that there were no staff that had been trained and management were too young to have any experience. I thought their one saving Grace was food but after day 2 even that deteriorated. The servings progressively became smaller and smaller. Fabulous boat The American Queen built 1995 went on weeks cruise 2022 loved every minute did not want to leave fantastic food and entertainment and side tripes were fabulous I collect riverboat models artifacts and memorbilia This was the best vocation I ever had inside room was extremely compact and well done Would love to go again Boat was just sold to American Cruise Lines Tell them to call me and away I go Carole Matthews a resident since 1970 from South Florida Thanks for reading bye…

My husband and I were confirmed on the Ocean Navigator in October 2023 from Boston up the New England coastline. We flew to Boston, and the night before we were suppose to leave we got a letter under our hotel door, stating the cruise was cancelled because of mechanical issues. Apparently the generator on the boat blew up on the previous cruise. The next morning, they offered us 125% on our next cruise with them, but we asked for a refund. They told us it would take 90 days to refund our $6896.10 fare. It is now almost 120 days later. I emailed several times, but received no response. I called and spoke with Austin yesterday, who promised to email me the same day. He didn't. When I called this morning, Austin wasn't available. He had told me he would talk with Katie (who is the one to get the credit back on my credit card) . When I asked for Katie today, I was informed that she doesn't have a phone number I can use. She won't talk to clients directly. I believe this, because the only number I could call was their reservations number. My brother and his wife, who were traveling with us, have not received a refund, either. I have read the reviews, and it seems this is a pattern with them. We booked a New Orleans to Memphis cruise on the American Countess. While the ship's crew was pleasant and competent to a man the company office and management leave much to be desired. I thought the food to be sub par with dining times at 5:30 or 7:45 which is not what most people wanted. There is no bar food and with unlimited drinks and no bar snacks lots of people were drunk. We spent hours on a bus to reach our scheduled stops. Our post cruise package was laughable at the Peabody with invalid vouchers and to cap it off our vouchered taxi never showed up for the airport return trip. Post cruise calls said we would be reimbursed for the food and airport voucher but four months later it has not been received. I learned that our capable travel agent also has not been paid by American Queen. Stay Away!…

Attention All Travel Agents: Don't book "American Queen Voyages (AQV)----they don't pay commissions. I found out the hard way; I've been waiting for a commission check since September of 2023 and I'm confident that it won't be coming. Sad but True.
