Akshay Kumar's 'thigh-slap' to Taapsee's dance: Shikhar Dhawan's chat show promo

Actor Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Bhuvan Bam and others will grace the new chat show of cricketer Shikhar Dhawan. Tited ‘Dhawan Karenge’, the show will take viewers on a journey filled with heartwarming narratives and engaging dialogues with Dhawan. The makers released the promo today, May 16 that featured Akshay, Taapsee’s fun chat with Shikhar.

In the promo, Shikhar tries to recreate Akshay Kumar’s popular dialogue ‘Don’t Angry Me' and the two get into laughter. In another segment, the cricketer is seen dancing with Taapsee on dhol beats. The chat show will feature other guests including Internet sensation Bhuvan Bam, cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Rishab Pant.

From delving into the intricate lives of beloved Bollywood celebrities to shedding light on the behind-the-scenes world of cricketing legends and content creators, each episode takes place in a different intimate space that has a special significance to the featured guest.

The official Instagram page of JioCinema shared the promo and wrote, “Aapka favourite Gabbar, aa raha hai ek naye andaz mein! Get ready for gupshup, stories aur masti se bhara naya show, with none other than Shikhar Dhawan, featuring the biggest guests in the country! Dhawan Karenge, streaming 20 May onwards, only on JioCinema Premium (sic).”

In addition to 'Dhawan Karenge,' guests will engage in a variety of interactive segments, ranging from exchanging shayaris to fun reenactments of the iconic Dhawan pose. Each episode will feature Shikhar and the guests reminiscing about the past.
