An interesting selection of public art is to be seen. Probably the piece attracting most attention is Eyes by Louise Bourgeois.

White Snow Cake by Paul McCarthy from 2011 is multi layered. Characters with standout proboscis are here with a joyful young woman holding a bag in metal arms.

Anish Kapoor has a work titled Untitled.

Over the years I have learned to appreciate art. On occasion, I can even discuss it without sounding like a complete dimwit. However, if I’m telling the truth, I rarely ‘feel’ art the way some do. Until today....I can’t say exactly why or how but the sculptures at Vigeland Park absolutely floored me emotionally. Some think this sculpture garden is madness. I think it’s an incredible view inside of the human condition. For me, these sculptures seem to be laying out our humanity, literally stripped bare, for all to see. Highly recommend

Very nice pice of art from Tjuvholmen in the middle of Oslo, surrounded by one of the best residential areas of the city is a must of architecture.

Nothing really interesting, just strange, rather ugly sculptures. The only notable thing is the building of the Astrup-Fearnley Museum, located in the immediate vicinity, which has a special architecture. It is worth sitting on a bench and watching the ships sailing on the water of the fjord.

Modern sculpture in natural surrounds are always a welcome site and this doesn't disappoint. Please not many reviews and images here are actually a different park called Vigeland Sculpture Park which, in my opinion, is far superior

Ended up in this park by accident, but what a surprise! Lots of locals enjoyed strolling the park with their kids and pets. Was totally fascinated by all the nude sculptures.

The strand is surprisingly calming, even for weekend. Take a lovely stroll all around the area. Sunbathe on the small stretch or just meander for a lovely afternoon.

Nice place just to be outside near the sea, there are wooden pontones and stone beaches, some birds like ducks and swans.

This makes for a nice walk around especially on the grass area behind Astrup Fearnley Museum. Some interesting sculptures along the waterfront and some others inland. A nice area to walk around with plenty to see for free.

Just a few modern sculptures, but a nice walk along the peninsula to get there. Checking out the restaurants to go to in the evening was perhaps more beneficial than seeing the sculptures.
