This mission can be kickstarted by the activity "Speak with Janet" if the activity is obtained, though the activity is optional and simply speaking with Janet can trigger this mission.
"Janet Yang hates her situation, being stuck on board the ECS Constant as it roams the galaxy looking for a new home to settle. I'm going to try to help her by negotiating with Captain Brackenridge to let her go.
