My experience at Cumberland University has been great, I absolutely love it here! The people, area, and the teachers are some of the best. But, if I had to change one thing it would be the food.
I graduated with my bachelors in psychology & it was the BEST!!! Not only was I challenged academically by the professors, the students were also very engaged in class. Not to name drop but Jenny Mason is a badass when it comes to anything you need to know about psychology. Unfortunately, she is now the dean of the department so not sure how many classes she will be teaching, but if you get the chance, for sure meet with her... she's not your typical faculty member. While Cumberland University is in a small town, I would highly recommend you to go there if it's solely for academics in psychology!
Some of the science faculty were racist and showed outright favoritism. Professors that should be professional acted childish and some acted like they would do the impossible to make students lives difficult. I now know that was not normal and real professional professors do not act in heinous manners towards students.
