Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas just celebrated a major milestone for their daughter.
Maltie Marie recently turned two years old, and accordingly, her parents rang in her birthday with a colorful Elmo-themed birthday party. Jonas shared photos from her big day to his Instagram.
A few of the shots show the birthday girl wearing a ruffled pink sweater covered in pink and red hearts, a pair of pink heart-shaped sunglasses, and a glittery pink tiara. In another sweet snap, Chopra embraces Jonas from behind as the two smile wide for the camera. Chopra wears a bright orange hoodie with matching orange sunglasses, while Jonas wears a red hoodie with a white illustration pattern. Jonas’s older brother and bandmate, Joe Jonas, also made an appearance to the festivities; one picture shows the JoBro members posing for a photo alongside a group of other friends.
“Our little angel is 2 years old ❤️,” Nick captioned the photos.
The couple welcomed Malti, their first child together, via surrogacy in January 2022. They later announced that she had spent over 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit following her birth.
“I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything and I just want to see her happy,” Chopra said in an interview last year with Elle. “I want her to be the happiest. She’s a super smiley, happy baby, and that’s all my goal is—to see her joyous. Every time she smiles, it lights up my world, and that’s all I want to do.”
