Overall a pleasant stay. Would like to see more cupboard space in the rooms.

Fabulous venue. You can see and smell the sea and walk along the Prominade. Fabulous staff. A hotel with a lovely ambience. The rooms are basic, the kitchenette in each is a bonus. I am happy to recommend this hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at The President Hotel. Service was excellent and room very clean and comfortable. Location is very central to Cape Town places of interest. Food was good and there is a nice atmosphere in the bar.

Excellent stay providing good rest and excellent food. The President hotel is also in a great location and the staff are simply friendly and attentive. The pool area is also very good and the proximity to the sea front makes it very appealing. Thank you

I stayed there for 4 nights during a trip to SA and was not impressed. It is yet another regular typical hotel. My room was facing the parking lot and the mountain, it was small and luck of any personality. Breakfast was very good and they had cappuccino, latte,and the like, you just had to ask and wait...For people who likes Hilton, Sheraton, etc., it meets the standards, for people who like more interesting and unique places it is not.

I was upgraded to a suite which was very nice. The sleeping area was a bit small, but I was quite pleased with the room and the view. The room was cleaned promptly and bathroom supplies and towels were more than adequate. I only ate breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast was buffet style with an omelette station. Quality of the food was excellent. Front desk service was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. If you have children, they would love the pool.

We have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times. The hotel has changed ownership but still has a lot of the same staff and is pretty much identical. Best pool in Cape Town that is shielded from the wind. Rooms are big and quiet. Good value for money. Easy access to beaches, shops, trendy restaurants. Nice walks to everywhere from here. I would recommend it for families. Bit of a cheek to charge for parking if you ask me, but not the end of the world. All the staff were friendly and wonderful. Will be back soon.

Regarding the parking, most hotels add the parking fee into their rates, we do not do this as we find that to be unfair to the guests that do not have a car on the premises. The hotel has great facilities, with friendly and very accommodating staff. My room was in very good condition, equipped with everything you could possibly need.
The pool area is very enjoyable and a pleasure.
I had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were extremely good.
If you plan on using the gym, hope that there isnt more than 2 people with the same plan. It is very small, but served its purpose. If its too full, a run on the promenade will serve just as well.
An overall good experience and I will definitely look at staying at The President Hotel when I am back in Cape town.

Upgraded to an apartment, nice view of the pool and the ocean. Room is clean and spacious. Close to the Waterfront Promenade and many restaurants. Buffet breakfast is marvelous. Omelet bar with lots of fruit, cheese, pastries.

Very good place to stay in sunny Capetoiwn. Excellent infinity swimming pool looking into Bantry Bay. Very good staff. Great room with view if Lions Head. Good room facilities - excellent beds -with superb quality sheets and great chambermaid service.. Would reyurn if back in Capetowmn

The hotel has plugs for European plugs, but only one in the room. Other plugs are specific for SA. I recommend to get cheap ones from Amazon. Not sure if the hotel has plugs for guests to borrow.
as long as you pay with a credit card you will be covered, but maybe not through an email, go direct to the website to pay, never click a link in an email if you are even slightly unsure.
