Lincoln university is a great place to attend if you are looking for a close HBCU near St.Louis. It is a small but comfortable community.
Great campus/ university over all, professors could be more understanding, food could be better. But the family you create and be welcomed into no matter your sport or interest is amazing. Love meeting people from all walks of life.
With me being new to Lincoln University I'm looking for to learning and being apart of something great.
At Lincoln University you feel welcomed. You also feel like you belong. No one is judging you and you have all the room and opportunity to grow into the man or woman you will soon become. They give you a chance that some or all of us may need to become better than we are now. You also will have many chances to meet people that you may have in your life forever.
I love Lincoln as a university. My mother came to Lincoln for college as well. I like how the professors try to make a one on one connection with students. I also like how organized the professors are. I never feel rushed on assignments and have plenty of time to complete them.
Lincoln University, MO prepared me as a student. I will forever be thankful for the experiences, opportunities and lessons learned while a student at LU.
Lincoln has been a good time. However due to the fact I took a year off to become a phlebotomist, my main goal is to better my future.
The environment and the tools to help you succeed is here. They strongly encourage that you ask for help instead of looking dumb and not knowing. It's up to the student to figure out if they want to pass and ask for help or fail and ask no one for help.
The students an staff are all kind and helpful.Making new friends am having new exerpinces at this college I recommend.
The courses I have taken so far are very well taught. The courses are well planned and thought out, easy to follow, and the professors genuinely care about all of their students. I would like to see the admin side better at responding to emails and phone calls along with better training to help students in the Military.
Very knowledgeable professors, however campus living could be greatly improved, overall decent experience with improve BTS to be made.
I like the sense of community on this campus everybody is here to succeed. One thing I don't like about this campus is that it is on a hill so I'll be tired every time I get to class.
Things that I like about Lincoln University is how it is a family-based school and the class size are small.
Lincoln University is a good college for people that cannot afford more expensive colleges but want a similar education. Overall a large portion of the professors are very enthusiastic and are able to keep students interested in their classes. The classes are worth what they cost and the campus itself is fairly loose in design. The only downsides of Lincoln are its location and campus infrastructure being unkempt in areas especially the parking lots. Lincoln is extremely diverse and inclusive.
Lincoln University is a great school. They give out many scholarships to make sure students are not struggling to pay for college. I love my HBCU!!!
I love the teachers and experience if you want a easy to learn HBCU this is the place for you. The teachers are very hands on if you are having trouble with the course information. The students are always willing to give a helping hand if you find a place or item. The library is a very quiet and relaxing place to study you will even find nice people to study with. The food in the cafe is so good. You are sure to get your money's worth but also try to buy as much pantry items for your dorm room because after all that studying you will need a snack or two. If you have questions about anything dealing with your dorm talk to the person over your dorm and they will give you all the information you need to feel safe and comfortable. Please try to not get into it with anyone remember your education is very important, fighting and getting kicked out is just stupid. Its just best to walk away and focus on what is more important and that is yourself. And just be safe at all times good luck
I had one class that I did online for . Choir . Choir was pretty challenging due to the fact that internet connections might go out .
