after we missed an airline connection, we really liked this hotel and the friendly staff. Didn't have time to eat their breakfast there so I can't rate that. Nice, comfy hotel after a difficult flight and missed connection in Detroit.

Stayed here from 12/23 to 12/29. This is a good hotel choice if you are visiting for more than a couple of nights. The hotel offers a free full breakfast buffet every morning, 24/7 airport shuttle, gym, pool, mini fridge and microwave in the suite, room service, a laundry room, a restaurant and business center. You can walk 2 minutes to Starbucks, a few restaurants and a gas station mini mart. There is also a happy hour type thing every night. They set out bar snacks/dips and you can also get free soda at that time if you're not a drinker. Since the room has a fridge and microwave I just ordered a few days worth of groceries from the local Kroger through instacart so I wouldn't have to pay to dine out for lunch and dinner every day.
If aesthetics are important to you, the room decor is a little dated but it was comfortable BUT the mattresses may not be getting rotated very often. My bed sunk a lot on the side that was close to the bathroom. I assume that is the spot where hundreds of people have sat after coming out of the shower. My bedroom was separated from the living room by a large folding door that you would see on a closet in the 70s or 80s with the wooden slats on the top half. It wasn't hard to open or close but it wasn't on a track so it had to be dragged across the carpet and it didn't completely shut into the frame. This only bothered me because I worried the light peering through the slats would wake up my son if I had to stay awake to work.
Housekeeping will bring you whatever you need when you ask but they will only come to do a traditional cleaning every 4 days. I couldn't find any large trash cans in the halls so I left my bags outside of my door and they would be gone within an hour.
The pool is nice if you go at the right time. There were a bunch of kids staying at the hotel when I was there so there were times where they monopolized the space and staff didn't enforce the rule of kids not being allowed in there without an adult.

Staff wearing masks was hit and miss. Most of the time the front desk staff had them on but the housekeeping staff usually didn't. Most guests wore masks in the common areas.

Staff were all very nice to me and my son and check in/check out was easy. Will definitely stay here if I have to go back to the area.

Beds cleaning is very important and should be double checked. The pillows might as well not be included in the room. If a customer shows you a legit complaint they should be compensated. Light bulbs should be checked in the rooms and of their are stain on the walls they should be wiped off. Mold around bathroom tub should be removed.

The rooms did not match the High price! The rooms were very dull, and the bathroom tubs had rust in it. This hotel needs to update their rooms just like they updated their lobby. I was thinking since the lobby looked nice the rooms must look amazing too, but no I was wrong and very disappointed. Not only that; but there was a diaper full of poop on the carpet floor while coming in one of the side doors. It was very disgusting! One of the tv's in my room had stoped working and you could only hear the audio. At my stay, there were disrespectful teens or kids doing inappropriate things outside the window and then staring at my car- in which they knew what they were doing so I went to a different parking spot. I know they can't really control what others do but keep in mind to tell parents and teens the rules, like have respect and more. When I went to workout there was also no towels or hand sanitizer in the workout room, this is how people get sick. In conclusion this hotel needs to update their rooms- majorly bathrooms, there should not be rust in the tubs. I had got a Room saw the rust in the bathroom, so they let me switch to another room and the other room had rust too! This means majority of the rooms are rusted and not up to date. If you are not going to update your rooms then lower the price please b/c it is not worth it at all!

This hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, with excellent, friendly, helpful staff and superb swimming pool/gym facilities. The pool/jacuzzi was the cleanest I have seen in a long time! There were plenty of warm pool towels waiting for guests at the pool. There was beautiful artwork and decor at the hotel. There were free happy hour drinks and snacks. There was room service. There were REAL plates and silverware at breakfast and freshly made to order eggs/omelettes. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Excellent location/other dining opportunities. Free parking. Wifi worked well. Plenty of open areas to sit and relax with family.

The room smelled like fresh throw up, AC didn’t work, breakfast items gone by 930 and not replenished…wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Only good part is it’s by the airport for easy in/out. $200 per night certainly isn’t worth it, though

Daughters wanted to go swimming during Christmas break so booked a room at 3:30 PM and checked in before 5:00. Everything was wonderful: friendly staff, clean room and property, good food and drinks. Staff extremely motivated to make our stay a pleasant one despite hotel being almost empty. Thanks

I would like to say that this is my second time staying at the this hotel. Most times when I am booked for ministry I request to stay here because it’s close to the airport. During the process I normally don’t handle financial issues regarding the room I just checkin and grab my keys for my room. However, this time I was told that the incidental fee for for my entire stay was 100 dollars by a recent hire upon checkin, so I was prepared to do that. I get to check in and the general manager Joe Felice I felt was not very sympathetic to the issues also being a Hilton honors member and an employee of Hilton, if something is promised then it should be honored because it was an inconvenience to me. He also laughs and make an inappropriate and also racist comment I feel saying “ you don’t $50 more dollars then you shouldn’t be traveling” and laughed after saying it. me and my mother was very appalled by the comment and it bothered me as a black young man and made me very furious because I know that if this was the other way around the request would’ve been honored. My family and I did not appreciate it at all. I would like to add that later that night the front desk supervisor Latoya checked on me made sure the rest of my stay was amazing and that I had everything that I need and I wanted to say thank you!

My preferred hotel is Embassy Suites whenever I travel however I did not have a wow experience at this Embassy Suites. The people were super nice for the most part. My issues are that the hotel is outdated. We had to change a room because the tub had a crack in the porcelain that could cause some harm. However the new room tub was not as bad as that one but still outdated. Also I guess due to covid restrictions they don't service the rooms and you have to put a request for towels and washcloths. Like I said I think the hotel just needs a tremendous amount of updates. Other than that it was okay.

I was very pleased with all the staff. Everyone was very nice and very helpful with our needs to bringing extra toiletries to our room when needed. The food was impeccable and lots of choices to choose from. The made to order omelets and pancakes was delicious.

I recommend staying at this Embassy Suites. You will not be disappointed at all.

I look forward to visiting and staying at this location again in the near future.

Thank you for the hospitality.

They do and it runs every 15 minutes starting around 4:30 in the morning. I'm not sure when that might taper off. They were very accommodating to me with a rental car drop off.

Parking at hotels in Romulus is free for those guests who are registered and actually present on the premises. Any other parking is prohibited, therefore any long-term parking must be in designated lots such as Qwik Park.
