How to Use this Online Dice Roller

1. Choose the number of dice (in standard mode, with throwing animation, up to six are available for selection - to roll more than six online dice at a time, use the dice generator) and the number of sides (the list contains the most popular variants, you can also specify an arbitrary number of sides for the die by selecting the option "Any"), displayed within the drop-down menus at the top of the page.
   A set for the dice game Fudge (4dF) is also available for selection.
2. To roll dice, click the "Roll" button or the Enter key on the keyboard.
3. The result (the total sum of the values of all virtual dice rolled) is calculated automatically and is displayed above the button. The values are generated randomly.

What are Dice

Dice are used to generate random numbers in games of chance, for example in craps and yahtzee, and is also widely used in board games (such as Tritrac and Monopoly) and role-playing games (RPGs) such as D&D.
The real material die is a three-dimensional figure with marks on its sides (pips, numbers or other symbols) to mark a value of a dice roll. Its traditional shape is a cube (6 sides - d6), but there are other shapes (d3, d4, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100 etc.) - non-cubic dice are mainly used in role-playing games.
