Summary
John and Seraphina are the heirs to their respective families. The both of them, the future rulers of their species. Three years before they reach adulthood, they attend Wellston University to learn more of life outside their clans and to study whatever they desire, whilst building a rapport with those that will one day serve them; however, their time there will be far from peaceful when they catch wind of hunters preparing to descend on campus to investigate the supernatural activity that has not gone undetected. Old and new foes slither out of the woodworks to rain hell upon the pair of best friends.

With their full faith placed in each other, John and Sera begin a struggle against the forces that seek to tear them apart, whilst struggling with the inner demons created from their bloody pasts.

He looks up at the mob of people staring down at them through the window. Their beady eyes pierce and their heads tilt so they can see from way above, where John can’t reach. There’s an insurmountable distance that looms and glass that keeps him closed off in a little display. He hopes they’re getting a good view from up there.
Down here, it’s just John and the bodies. There’s only two. Three, counting the one under his boot. When he blinks, his mind conjures more, face down in the bloody dirt, spread across the field with artful brutality. His knuckles are bruised and red and white. He clenches them, resisting the urge to split Zeke’s head in front of everyone.

Arlo scoffs. “Right. And I think if you could act a little less recklessly, we could avoid dying on public transportation.”
“Nah,” John decides, although he does put his other hand back on the pole just below Arlo’s. “I won’t die in a train crash. I’m going to die of something cooler, like saving the world or on the front lines of a riot or something.”
With a sigh, Arlo downs the rest of his current cup of coffee. “Getting killed by the police is cool now?”
“You’re right. More like, of radiation poisoning after destroying a nuclear weaponry base.”
“We are gathered here today to celebrate the passing of John Doe,” Arlo deadpans immediately, his gaze fixed on the blurred, dark walls whizzing by out the window. “And I do mean celebrate, because most of you are here to confirm that he’s actually gone so you can throw a party. He was beloved by the delusional minority and also Seraphina, to whom I would like to say: move on and deal. Amen.”

Summary
John Doe just wants the world to change. He wants to bring an end to it all, the hierarchy, the authorities, society. So going to Welston High School, the most powerful school in the country. Seemed like a good idea.
He didn't think it would get this hectic though. Between assignments and clubs, Spectre, ember and the authorities, John might not manage to graduate.
At least he can use his ability, right? Wrong.

Even if he was now back home, with his dad and in an environment he knew and used to be comfortable in, he couldn’t get his mind off what happened there. Adding onto that, he hadn’t activated his ability in almost a full year, and John didn’t intend to do so any time soon. At least not for a longer while.
That’s what led to dad writing UnOrdinary."
Or; An Au where John is provided of the tools to slowly get better and it's a lot more sane when he enrolls to Wellston High, he doesn't become part of the Royals officially, but doesn't need to act as a cripple. Arlo is still an asshole for a while though.

Years of pushing himself too far start catching up to Arlo, manifesting in a constant pain in his chest. John, of course, doesn't know about this and happens to punch him, y'know, typical John behaviour.
Arlo doesn't want to explain what's going on, because of course he doesn't, so John pesters him relentlessly until he spills.
Bonding ensues :)*This is predominantly headcannon based so it's probably somewhat out of character. Arlo's experience with chronic pain is based off of my own, and is absolutely not reflective of chronic pain as a whole or the experiences of others who have it.

To say John didn’t want to be here would be an understatement. Really, this whole fucking plan was stupid. They were being hunted down by the authorities and by a rogue group trying to destroy the hierarchy and take high tiers down with it, as if any of them asked for this power. And instead of doing something useful or smart about it, Headmaster Vaughn sent them overseas to visit a hero school of all places. This whole shitshow was just made worse by the fact that Sera still didn’t have her ability back, his was only at half power, and the other idiots that got sent here were all stupidly fucking reckless and were going to get themselves dragged into more shit. Even Arlo was getting into dumb shit these days. God only knows that Blyke, Isen, and Remi would go wild and find themselves in the middle of trouble. Again.
You don't really need any knowledge on My Hero Academia to read this.

After all it’d be a waste to let a cripple father a child who would most likely grow up to become a god-teir. After a rather short legal battle, John finds himself with a new guardian; His Uncle. But, things aren’t so pleasant with is Uncle, and John just wants to go home. Things aren’t all too bad thanks to the company of Elinora his cousin. John isn’t exactly happy with his situation, but at the very least, he’s great full he has a friend with him.

John doe is not a responsible person, he's impulsive and doesn't consider the consequences.
So going to a school that will more than likely push him over the edge due to the amount of tests and assignments he has, gossiping and powerful student thinking they can prey on the weak, sounds quite in character for him. Not to mention the Authorities, Ember and Spectre.
But at least he can use his ability to help himself, right? Wrong.
