referencing Blowing My Mind (LP, Album, Mono) LN 24199
The opener "Gettin' It Down" is pretty Stonesy, and I mean 12x5 Stonesy, and the rest is also tons of rockin' 1966 blues fun with Charlie Musselwhite on harp and Harvey Mandel on guitar. "Twice A Man" is deep stuff, too. Great vocals by Goldberg make for quite a garagey blues feeling overall, but with a cool sound thanks to (or despite?) Billy Sherrill's Nashville production chops. Fun and recommended!
