The University of Zurich awarded B. Douglas Bernheim an honorary doctorate. Bernheim gave a public lecture for the special occasion.
Muriel Niederle was elected as a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2024 for the excellence of her work in behavioral and experimental economics.
Neale Mahoney will begin his term as SIEPR's director on January 1, 2025.
Nicholas Bloom is serving as American Economic Association's co-vice president with Ebonya Washington, a professor of economics and international and public affairs at Columbia University, in 2024.
