Actor Siddharth unveiled his first look poster from his upcoming film ‘Indian 2’ on his 45th birthday today, April 17. The film, directed by S Shankar, reportedly features Siddharth playing a significant role as a cop. It stars Kamal Haasan in the lead.
The official X page of Lyca Productions shared the poster and wrote, “Team INDIAN-2 wishes the multifaceted SIDDHARTH a Happy Birthday! Your diverse roles and timeless charm continue to captivate everyone! Here’s to another year of success in your journey (sic).”
In the movie, Kamal Haasan reprises his iconic role as Senapathy from the original film, ‘Indian,’ released in 1996. The first installment featured Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar. Manisha Koirala is set to make a special appearance in the sequel.
‘Indian 2’ marks Siddharth's second collaboration with director Shankar after their previous work together in 'Boys.'
The ensemble cast of the forthcoming film includes SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Nedumudi Venu and Kalidas Jayaram in pivotal roles.
