The space
This cabin has been completely renovated. Available all year round. It is on a private piece of Canadian shield, 200 m from the owner's residence. Panoramic views overlooking Milburn Bay (Dog Lake). 100m walk to cabin. There is a canoe. There is a trampoline for the kids. All are complimentary and meant to inhance your experience.

The small kitchen has a bar fridge, microwave, toaster oven and kettle. Instant coffee/tea/sugar are supplied. There are bowls, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses. No indoor stove. Has outdoor barbecue.

There is a sink with a drain with lake water at the sink April to October. Most guests wash up using the sink or go to the beach as there is no shower. Bring your own drinking water. Water for dishes supplied in Winter months.

There is a cozy woodstove and wood supplied for stove only. To break the chill on the cool evenings. Wood is for indoor door use only.

Outdoor fire pit by the water. Please supply your own firewood.

Indoor composting toilet plus outhouse on site.

There is a double bed on the ground floor. Bring your sleeping bag or bedding and pillow. For sanitation reasons bedding is NOT supplied.

There is a loft accessed by a ladder with a single mattress. There is a cupboard with craft supplies for the kids and plenty of games.

Enjoy a DVD (bring your own or watch our selection) while sitting by the dancing flames in the woodstove.

Dish soap and hand soap are supplied along with dish clothes and dish towels.

We are located 10 minutes from a public beach and 15 minutes from a convenience store.

Other things to note
Check in after dark is tricky. Let us know your arrival time so we can look out for you. Check in is between 3pm and 8pm. No boats, no trailers. Only one vehicle permitted on this property, no exceptions.
