Previously, Kartik Aaryan had talked about the rigorous workout routine he had to undergo to prepare for Chandu Champion. Now, fans can finally witness the fruits of his labour. On Wednesday, makers unveiled the film’s first poster, featuring Kartik running in a ‘langot’ and showcasing his toned physique.
The poster depicts Kartik running, covered in mud, with his athletic body on full display. He is seen wearing nothing but a ‘langot’ in the photo. Kartik shared the poster on Instagram with the caption, “Champion Aa Raha Hai… Super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career #ChanduChampion 💪🏻 🇮🇳 #14thjune @kabirkhankk #SajidNadiadwala.”

Many celebrities commented on Kartik’s look. Nimrat Kaur called his look, “Insane,” while Bhumi Pednekar expressed her excitement by writing, “Woahhhhhh.” Huma Quereshi wrote, “Arreeeee waaah.”
Earlier, Kartik shared a video from the wrap-up party of Chandu Champion. In the Instagram post, he mentioned how Chandu Champion has been one of the toughest films of his career. The actor revealed that he underwent a physical transformation for the film, involving “more than a year of intense preparation.”
He wrote, “wrote, “This RasMalai Tasted Like Victory ! Finally eating sugar after a year !! After more than a year of intense preparation and 8 months of day-n-night shoots across the globe, today we complete the shooting journey of #ChanduChampion. And it couldn’t have been sweeter than my fav, Rasmalai – from the Man himself who carved this challenging path for me… you have been a profound inspiration Sir! @kabirkhankk ❤️.”
Chandu Champion’s story is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, a gold medalist who made the country proud at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and the 1972 Paralympics held in Germany. Directed by Kabir Khan and bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is set to release on June 14, 2024.
