Had a third floor room facing the pub across the street and was concerned we would be kept up all night by the pub's noise, but didn't hear a thing after 9 pm.
Staff here were very helpful, made a great recommendation for Thai food off site, and reviewed a future booking without any obligation.
Both bar and lunch restaurant were comfortable, if a bit noisy, and worth a look at. Here too server was very helpful and patient with us.
Breakfast menu was a bit weak and overpriced for quantity and quality of food.
Serving staff at breakfast however was friendly and attentive.
Room itself was deluxe, hallway was quiet and I slept well.

We stayed as part of a weekend break and first impressions were positive; friendly staff, even allowed us an early check in. We had a truck and didn't fit in their underground parking but were able to park across the road for just $6. Our suite was cozy but well designed; small kitchenette with mini bar - watch out for their prices; $6 for a can of beer is a bit much in my opinion. Comfortable beds but the room was really hot despite lowering the temperature. We sampled the pool (warm but very shallow), waterslide and hot tub. There used to be a good sauna there once but since has gone. Shame. The Flower & Wolf served up a great lunch and awesome cocktails; special mention to Doug who was simply great - don't lose this guy! Exploring the city from the hotel is super easy as its connected to the Plus 15, which pretty much leads everywhere downtown - so no coats required even on a cold winter day. We ate in with room service and the food was good. We treated ourselves to a movie, although at $25 it worked out more expensive than going to the cinema! Sadly, however, the breakfast was a disappointment. My son found a long black hair in his pancakes and we immediately lost our appetite, but still charged for the full amount. Overall, we really liked this city hotel and would return but probably eat elsewhere.

We chose this particulat hotel 5 years ago for it's location and suite rooms, have continued to stay here every trip to Calgary. We book 3-4 rooms at a time for our large group, the hotel makes sure we're all on the same floor and usually next to each other. The rooms are plenty big, very clean. The kids love the pool with the big slide. Love the location. We will continue to book this hotel, absolutely love it!

Stayed here for 10 days, it was good experience, and everything went as expected. No staff would even bother you unless you are asking something from them, they would greet you with a smile from afar. The only interaction I have was during check in, check out and alternative house cleaning only.
That’s aside, what traumatized me is the billing experience with them. The booking was made under corporate credit card by my company’s provider. Many of my colleagues prefer here due to its location. But somehow, this happen to me, where the hotel charged the bill into my personal (overseas) credit card, the reason been they couldn’t get hold of my company’s provider for payment. So, they come after me for it without any notification, despite that they said my personal credit card was merely for authorization and other hotel services not included in the corporate booking.
Here is the nightmare, when realizing this and upon communication by my provider with the hotel, the hotel charges the correct payment mode and refunded the money to me. But due to overseas credit card and foreign currency exchange rate, there is deficit of USD30 that I need to top up.
Fine, it might be small amount to the hotel, but still, it is money. So, my provider is helping to seek further refund from the hotel. The funny thing, the hotel refunded again FULL AMOUNT of my stay to me, then charged my personal credit card the same amount again. So in out in out, there is deficit of approximately USD120 that I need to pay myself. For the hotel, the amount is still the same in Canadian dollar, nothing lost at their end of course right.
This is still unresolved, and I hope my experience can serve as a warning or alert to others.

We were only here for one night. My first time in Calgary. I’ve heard people say Canadians are the nicest people, but not until I visited the Sheraton suites Calgary did I find out that it was true. The Entire team starting from the parking attendant, to the Consierge, to room service, to cleaners etc. were unbelievably friendly, helpful and very courteous. Allan in particular at the check in desk was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and was willing to go out of his way to make our stay was a great one. I have no doubt I will revisit Calgary soon and will make sure to stay at this hotel again. Also a great location, extremely clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms, etc. Go Flames Go!! We stopped in for a night in July 2020 on our way back home and really enjoyed this hotel and its service as well as location. Very clean, very nice staff and everything I could have hoped for, the Sheraton Suites Eau Claire delivered. Pro ti;s: there is an OEB breakfast place a close walk away for an amazing Calgary breakfast. And for you Instagram types, there is a cool cow bench across from the entrance that my daughter loved. I would happily return any time to this location.

Sheraton Eau Claire All Suites is a very good hotel and would stay here again. My two disappointments both have to do with the shower. The hot water is inconsistent in temperature and the bathtub shower combo is way too small for suites. Bed room and staff, Executive suites, etc were all great.

We had the most amazing stay in late July. We booked a stay as our first stay before our birthday trip to Banff to explore Calgary. We used points the redeem for a night. Upon some email exchanges prior to the stay, I was given the option to pay to upgrade to club level which offers lounge access with breakfast and evening refreshments. Pam Doulson and Ava at the front desk are very sweet and kind. After learning it is for a birthday celebration, they kindly sent up a surprise birthday treat along with a nice upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite which is perfect for our party with 3 adults and 1 kid.
The room is spotless and roomy with 2 washrooms and 3 tvs. Instead of exploring the city, we ended up just enjoying the hotel and spending time at the pool with the most amazing water slide according to the kids! The quality of the breakfast is fantastic and the club has a beautiful patio for pictures and relaxation.
In conclusion, it is the best stay we had in recent years. So good that we are coming back again before leaving Calgary. Thank you Pam and Ava for making the stay so special and enjoyable for our 3 generations. We have stayed in higher end hotel like Shangrila/Fairmont in recent years but I would say I got the most responsive and friendly service here. I’d rather stay here than there.
P.S. - the only think you should watch out for (if u have kids) is the glass door… my son was so excited that he ran into the glass and had a bump on his forehead…. I guess it shows how spotlessly clean the hotel is! 🤣

Stayed in a 1 Bedroom Corner suite for 5 nights. The hotel is super clean. The Pool is perfect for the kids with decent slide - heads up, it is super fast for adults. Spotless clean.
Check in for Marriott Gold was awesome and Ava helped us promptly with an early and late check out. Special thanks to the Valet crew. Very nice helpful folks.
We had room service twice and it was horrible both times. I dont understand why as the restaurant is actually delightful.
Joeys across the street is great. Avoid the Local Eatery.
The trail to the Island was perfect for the kids and the location is within 10-15 mins of all major attractions in Calgary.
On site parking is a rip off, but still highly recommend the hotel.

Throughout the pandemic this hotel was a god send. We frequent the city of Calgary and needed a place to stay as many of our other hotel go-to places simply either shutdown or didn't offer the required services. The Sheraton Eau Claire came through. This wasn't a hotel we would have looked at in the past but now will definitely keep on the list. Clean... exceptional service... great restaurant.. and great proximity to downtown and access to other parts of the city.
