Great spot for drinks in Benicia. The great food keeps us coming back though. Love the atmosphere and the bartenders are all super friendly. They've got trivia on Tuesdays, with live music throughout the week and weekends. A great addition to downtown!
Come, sit at the bar, and get to know the bar-tenders. Then strike up a conversation with your next seat mate. They have decent food and all of the bartenders know how to make amazing drinks. I was in Vallejo on a business trip with my husband, and we decided to go explore Benicia for the evening. We saw The Rellik while driving down the street and instantly, even from the outside, it looked like exactly where we wanted to go...that night. Upon walking in, the bartenders greeted us and fellow patrons gave us welcoming smiles. The atmosphere was cozy and smoke free, which I particularly appreciated! And the walls were lined with comfy couches and seating as well as bar stools and tables in the back area. The musicians that played the night we were there was Dueling Pianos, a male piano duet who absolutely gave the crowed a high energy show by playing requested songs for tips. They even invited me up to sing a song with a few other girls and them! Such a great place to be, even on a Wednesday night, the place was packed with happy, drinking, singing friends. Im sorry to have to do this. I have never wrote one negative post in my life while traveling, but this tale here just needs to be told. (Disclaimer: I'm a queer Texan). My friends and I like to travel and we stopped in this...bar on our way through the Golden State. We'd heard tales of the great state of CA being so gay friendly. So you can imagine to our chagrines how chagrined we were when we got gay bashed in Californ-I-A. Yes sir. We wont get into exact details on social. (That's rude where we're from). But rest assured, they will pistol whip our type here when given the chance, even more so than in some counties in Texas. So now Im posting about it. I hope the rest of yall do. Thank you, TravisMore

Visiting Benicia by boat we strolled the town looking for anitique shops. Needed an adult beverage so we stopped here. Great choice. Very comfortable and welcoming. Bartender was great and our drinks/cocktails were very good. Nice atmosphere.
Always busy with a nice following. Great ambiance with good music and drinks. A fun place to go with friends.
Probably the best that Benicia has to offer for night life. Nice vibe, classy place. It's a little small but very quaint and cool. If you're in Benicia and looking for a place to have that drink and listen to some music this is the...place to go.More
Perfect dirty martini! Not cheap but not city prices either - totally worth the price. Quality drinks, ambience and people (staff and regulars both lol) food good, but I have not tried much of it - I will be back to let you know more.
My wife and I had our second visit to Rellik Tavern and the consensus is that we need to make a habit of it. We came in on Sunday around noon, and were surprised to see the place packed! We were lucky that someone noticed...us and said she was leaving and offered us her bar seats, otherwise not sure where we would have sat. Selection of beers on tap was pretty good, went with a Heretic, Evil Twin which is one of my current go-tos. Ordered ahi poke which was delicious (initially said I wasn't going to have any, but had to have some when I saw it come out) with a perfectly balanced coleslaw on top, fried chicken sliders which were amazing, crispy, and had a wonderful vinegar sauce for dip, and finally the roast beef dip sliders, which was served on delicious local bread, and fantastic au jus and horseradish sauces. There was a live musician playing acoustic guitar, mostly 90s songs, which was surprisingly pleasant as I'm not usually a music person. Very friendly bar staff. Decided to sign up for their free, 5% off loyalty plan as we'll definitely be back.More
Highly recommend this eclectic bar with gourmet pub food. The drinks are good, excellent selection. The kitchen is tiny, but turns out some amazing dishes including the jalapeno-shrimp poppers, Irish nachos and delicious pizzas. Rotating live music schedule. Very mixed crowd where everyone is welcome.
Great local bar, bustling even on a Wednesday night. Plenty of cushy sofas (need a bit of cleaning though) and seats at the bar, some happy hour food. Waitress was friendly, service was great. Lovely song from a guitar player.
The Rellic Tavern has the best coffee in town. The coffee roaster that they use is not used by anyone else in Benicia. They serve it in a extra large ceramic saucer and cup and it makes me want to stay in their comfortable chairs...all day.More
My friend and I stopped in for lunch a short while ago and enjoyed ehh fare. He got th3 cab cake and I had one of their panini sandwiches, both of which were good. Our server was very friendly and the service was courteous and...efficient. I would definitely try lunch here again.More
