He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick Morrissey and Sylvia Morrissey; and his sisters, MaryAnn Fontana and Patricia Pinkey. He is survived by : his wife Sonja Morrissey; his children, Kelly Schoenberger (Doug), Patrick Morrissey (Lani), Lisa Magill (Sean) and Stephen Morrissey; his grandchildren, Emma, Haley Schoenberger, Katherine Deacon (Erik), John Morrissey, Morrigan and Keegan Magill; his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Jack Deacon; and his nieces, Diana, Melody, Camille Michelle and Yvonne (Sue).

If not reading, he could be found watching movies (old and new), listening to music (mostly old), or taking donations to the local animal shelters.
