‘Royal Pains’ season 7 spoilers: ‘The Prince of Nucleotides’

Who knew that “Royal Pains” was going to start throwing a little bit of chemistry into some of their episode titles? It may be a little surprising, but that is precisely what we have with “The Prince of Nucleotides,” which is the fourth episode of season 7 coming your way on Tuesday, June 23. This is an installment that is going to actually bring quite a bit to the table, whether it be continuing the story of Paige and Evan trying to start a family, or something entirely new when it comes to Hank and a patient he is treating.

“Hank treats a transgender teenager and learns her life is more complicated than he expected. Evan and Jeremiah host a gala fundraiser for the Center for Rare & Orphan Diseases and Jeremiah makes a major purchase for the lab. Meanwhile Paige and Evan’s journey to parenthood takes an unexpected turn, and Divya grows closer to Prince Quami.”

Transgender men and women of course have been in the news over the past year or so, and that may have not been lost on the writers when they included this story. However, at the same time we imagine that even they could not have predicted something like the Caitlyn Jenner story drawing such big headlines. This should be a fascinating story just to see what sort of medical obstacles transgender people can often face.

As for everything else, we are mostly just happy to see Jeremiah included in a synopsis again. We haven’t really got a sense yet as to what his story is going to be this season.
