Mary Adelaide Wilhelmina Elizabeth of Cambridge was born 27 November 1833 in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany to Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge (1774-1850) and Auguste von Hessen-Kassel (1797-1889) and died 27 October 1897 White Lodge, Richmond Park, London, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom of unspecified causes. She married Franz von Teck (1837-1900) 12 June 1866 in Kew, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom.
Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge (Mary Adelaide Wilhelmina Elizabeth; 27 November 1833 - 27 October 1897) was a member of the British Royal Family, a granddaughter of George III. She later held the title of Duchess of Teck by marriage.
Mary Adelaide is remembered as the mother of Queen Mary, the consort of George V. She was one of the first Royals to patronise a wide range of charities.
