Really hilly but very pleasant. Nice views and not too busy.

A lovely trail and not too much mud despite all the rain, but you can hear the M25 noise for a large proportion at the start and around Shoreham was quite busy with other walkers. Watch out for a hedge full of wasps just after leaving Shoreham

Some Muddy patches but easily navigated

A 10 minute walk from the station to Shoreham village centre. You can pick up the trail from there. Some slightly muddy sections but I managed to get around it in trainers without them getting too mucky. Overall, a nice walk with a couple of beautiful views and Shoreham itself is a very pretty village. A lot of it is in woodland though so if you're hoping to see a lot of Kentish vistas, this walk probably isn't the one for you.

Lovely walk with various gradients, also towards the end in the village are a couple of tea rooms for a small brake if needed.

Nice short walk for woodland and countryside views. Only downside was that the stream is at the end of the walk by the village so not as peaceful as the rest of the walk.

Really lovely dog friendly hike

Parked in Filstone Lane car park which is free and close to the trail. Lovely walk with some hills but definitely worth it for the view! There are a few benches along the trail which are perfect to have some lunch or just a small rest. It was drizzling all day which meant some areas became a little muddy and slippery.

Few muddy bits but surprisingly dry considering the rain. Detoured to Shoreham Cross. Nice tearoom in village, Easily parked at route start but there's maybe only half a dozen spaces. Would be easy to park in village and pick up trail too.

Great views and a beautiful village with tea rooms and pubs

Really muddy Lots of trees being cut down

Noisy bit passing next to M25- Lovely otherwise.

Hilly, views, woods.

A lovely walk with some good inclines that resulted in great views. We started in shoreham and followed the trail backwards which meant we could have lunch where we parked

Slippy underfoot on the hills in places but well worth it for stunning views. Great pub options and vineyard in Shoreham too!

Shoreham loop

Muddy in some places

Good with kids, a little hilly but only moderate, not too muddy very nice resting spots with views

Lovely walk. Dog & I enjoyed it.

Great walk. Good for dogs. At some points, the m25 is very loud but it’s temporary!

Park in the road but not much space (5 cars maybe) Some mud and slipy during the hike

Steep in places even for those with high fitness (like us) but some lovely views and well maintained paths. We added an extra 2.5k to the standard route

Steep in some places, but a lovely walk. Nice that there’s free parking nearby

Beautiful walk! Although there is no trail in the map, there is a large footpath through the woods that makes the walk even more enjoyable. Not too muddy, although there was rain in the past few days, but walking boots are still needed.

Excellent walk with lots of varied things to see. Took a little short cut after Waypoint 3 to avoid climbing up the hill and back down again. Take the little path to the right, just after the picnic bench, instead of taking the larger path that goes uphill. Cross the small field after the woods and you end up where the official route would have taken you anyway but without the extra hills

lovely little evening hike, uphill throughout most of the hike but good for all hikers, would be a nice little hike for beginners.

Very enjoyable walk

Very nice walk, there’s few parts which you have to go uphill.

Nice walk, dog friendly - a few hills but pleasant

Really lovely early evening walk in the rain with the dog. Nice to walk through Shoreham which was a cute little village. Can imagine this route gets muddy and there were a few steep hills that get the heart racing. Loved it and will be back
